you can simply record your actions or

recent tasks
let's create a new task using record
click record to start recording
let's record a simple task to open
notepad and type text into it
stop the recording give the task name
and save it
your task is created to run this task
select the task and click run whenever
you run this task automation anywhere
will open notepad and type into it
similarly you can record any activity
and automation anywhere will create a
task for you
this is the main automation anywhere
screen any information you need is
easily available here this area shows
all your tasks
here you can specify various properties
for a task like speed hotkeys schedule
times etc on
you can organize your tasks into various
directories here
let's discuss properties properties
allow you to enhance task behavior
let's first specify the repeat property
for a task select repeat let's say you
want your task to be repeated five times
specify the same here
optionally you can specify the time
between repeats now whenever you run the
task it will be repeated five times
using speed property you can replay your
task faster than the speed at which it
was recorded we select the high-speed
replay
use the notification property if you
would like to be notified when your task
is completed
automation anywhere will send an email
to the specified email address when the
task finishes to run your task using a
keyboard shortcut use hotkey select the
hotkey you want to assign to your task
your task has been assigned a hotkey now
you can run the task by pressing ctrl
six from anywhere anytime automation
anywhere offers advanced task security
you can password protect your task click
on security type the password you want
and save now whenever you run or edit
your task you will be prompted for the
password you can schedule your task to
run at a specified time
let's say you want to run your task
daily at 1030am on weekdays select daily
specify the time we specify 1030am we
need to type in the windows password so
that if your computer is logged off at
the scheduled time automation anywhere
will log in and run the task your task
will now run daily at 1030am on weekdays
let's say you want to run the task
whenever a file is created in the
documents folder you can define a
trigger for this
select folder as trigger type
specify folder name
now whenever a file is created in the
documents folder your task will run
automatically
