Testing a Tiny house - I could totaly live like this | World Travel Vlog
We started downsizing our personal belongings 3 years ago. We did it to get out of debt and be able to travel more.
Going to northern California aka the Capital of "Tiny House country" we had to test out one of these miniature homes.
We have been looking into building one ourselves, but wanted to spend a few nights in one before doing anything like this.
What if it would be too small for the 2 of us? We were both pleasently surprised.. we loved it, and it didn't seem crammed at all.
Now we are not sure we want to live in the country or in someones garden.. we might be more city people, but it was so nice to be able to get practical with our ideas and dreams:)
Hope you enjoy this house tour. Leave me a comment, could you live in a tiny house like this or a small studio apartment?

It's actually raining. We are heading to the
airport. We are leaving San Diego and flying
up to San Francisco. And we have had a week
of really nice, warm, sunny weather. And now
we are driving to the airport, and it's
raining. Everyone says that that's like a
treat to get to experience that because it
hardly ever rains. We are in the San Diego
airport where we're waiting right now because
there's a delay. There's currently a storm
in San Francisco where we're going. See you
in San Francisco. We finally made it to San
Francisco, only two hours' delay. Going to
get our rental car.
Hey, guys. I want to show you something
because we're staying in this small town,
one and a half hour north of San Francisco.
And we are renting this house. We've been looking
into building a tiny house like this for a
long time. And we're really concerned because a lot of them, they have wood siding.
And we don't like that. We wanted the white walls
and sheetrock and everything. And I found
this one. It has the white walls. And it's
a good way for us to just test out if this is
really something for us, if we could really
live like this. And so far, it's been a real
pleasant surprise. It doesn't seem small.
It doesn't seem claustrophobic at all. And I could easily live in a place like this.
If I could get over the fact that I really want
to live downtown, a big, huge city... So still
debating on that one. Let's check this house
out. Right when you come in the door, there's
a small office space. And I actually used it.
And it won't work if the chair was lower.
So another chair and I could actually sit and
work here just fine. Over here is the kitchen.
Normal fridge and everything. Look at
this wardrobe space. It's almost the same
amount of space that we had at home. We have
downsized our belongings a lot over the past
four years. I only own 33 items of clothes,
so I could easily fit it in a small house
like this, no problem. One of my big concerns
with the tiny house is that it's always been
the kitchen and the bathroom. So I was really
surprised when I saw this bathroom. Check
out this cool door. It's a swinging glass door.
And this bathroom has so much space. It's
like a ballroom bathroom. Really, there's
everything you need in there. It'll totally
work for me. No problem at all. Let me show
you the upstairs. It's amazing. I love it.
It's so cozy. The only thing is I woke up
at 5:00. And there was absolutely no more air
up here. Plus the heat gets up here too. So it's
so warm and no air. So I had to get the
windows open and get the air circulating.
But then it was fine after five minutes. So what
do you think? Would you want to live in a
tiny house like this if it makes you able
to travel more and spend your money that way?
I would. Thumbs up if you like these videos.
