First of all, download these tools , its totally free :)
these are the required tools..
Right Click on Audaciy.exe , Choose run as Administrator then follow the Audacity installation
Uncheck that option, we will now install plugin and dependency first
You can isntall this plugin wherever but we recommend you to install it in the same directory where Audacity installed
this plugin will installed at the "Plug-Ins" directory inside Audacity installation folder by the default
the last , this is the MOST IMPORTANT plugin that required by Audacity to export project as an .mp3 file
again, we recommend you to install it inside the Audacity installation folder
Now Lets run our Audacity
Audacity is recognizing all the plugins we've installed before (LADSPA_plugins-win-0.4.15.exe) ,
this just happens once and you won't got somehting like this further
check that ,
now, we will Locate "lame_enc.dll" to be recognized by Audacity
Choose "Edit">"Preferences"
On "libraries" panel, we can now locate the lame plugin that makes Audacity able to export as .mp3
Note Audacity is, by the default, recognize the FFmpeg library...
..(FFmpeg_v0.6.2_for_Audacity_on_Windows.exe), so you DON't Need to locate it manually
now locate the lame_enc.dll library, by clicking locate
if your system has already recognized it. just skip this,
if its not, clik on "browse", then locate the library manually
click Ok, the configuration is done, we are ready to convert an .mp4 to .mp3 now
I have a sample of video , you can use your own
now,.. drag that video directly to your Audacity window...
..release and wait for a moment, this depending on your mp4 filesize
here, you can cut, delete , adding effects etc to the file , I just want to delete a small piece of the intro
in this demo, we won't add any effects, just convert it to mp3 file , so press "ctrl+shift+E"
give it a name , and remember to choose mp3 under the "Save as Type"
then , basically you can now just export that mp4 to mp3 using the default options that Audacity given
I prefer a higher preset , a better mp3 output rather than default option from Audacity, here's how ...
before we click "save", choose "Options"
we can now choose many profiles based on our preferences
you can choose a Preset -based, Variable-absed, averag-based and Constant -based
one thing you should remember is , in general: the better quality , the higher filesize
I choose "Constant" bitrate, and select quality to 320kbps with "Joint Stereo" channel mode for a smoother result
click OK then save
now , Audacity asks you to input some metadata to the generated mp3 file
you can leave it, but I prefer to input, because this will give us some benefit ,
when mp3 files has metadata, most mp3 players will recognize the information about the song , like the title , year, artist, etc..
this will make us easier when we want to sort and groups many files, based on its metada, for instance : sorting music via its artist name ,
..sort music by its genre, its year etc, and is searchable by the media player based on that categories too
you can save the current metadata, to be used next time to save the time via "template->save",
next time you just need to "Load"-it then edit as necessary
Click OK, now the Export process is begin
Congrats! :D , we have the mp3 file now
look the video fz is about 73MB
the output is about 11MB
as we input it before , this mp3 has metadata also ,..
we can play it now :)
now close audacity, without saving the Project files since we don't add any effects etc.
