If you want to turn your mobile into a portable
Wi-Fi hotspot it really couldn't be simpler.
To get started press the home button and swipe
to unlock.
Tap apps and from the menu select settings
and then more settings.
From here tap tethering and portable hotspot
and slide the option bar to the right.
This will enable your portable Wi-Fi hotspot
where you can set up your own network.
Tap tethering and portable Wi-Fi hotspot again
and then tap configure.
From here you can rename your network and
take note of the password so others can connect.
Your Wi-Fi name will now be updated and people
with the correct password will be free to connect.
Once a device connects to your network their
details will appear in the connected devices
section and will also appear in the status
bar at the top of the phone.
Be sure not to over use Wi-Fi hotspots though
as prolonged use can eat into your mobile data.
