What is LightScribe? LightScribe is a recording
technology that allows users to create direct-to-disc
printing using specially coated media to produce
laser-etched graphics and text. LightScribe
is a great alternative to paper sticker labels
or your boring black marker. All you need
to have is your LightScribe burner, software
to create your LightScribe image file (also
known as an LSI file), and LightScribe media.
Burn, flip, print: the process is that simple.
Before or after burning your data to the 'read'
side of the disc, you simply turn the disc
over, insert it with the label side down.
The drive's laser then etches the LSI file
into the label side and your image is produced.
You now have a nice, professional-looking
alternative to the boring, black marker. Please
stay tuned to our YouTube channel. We will
be uploading a video shortly on how to use
the LightScribe software. And remember: burn,
flip, print.
