How To Image a T-Shirt With An Inkjet Printer
In this instructional video we will show you how to image light T-shirts and mouse pads. We will be using an Epson 4800 with Paropy Light Premium transfer paper. Inks that can be used with the transfer paper are dye based or pigment based inks.

light colored fabrics we will be using
para p ink jet lite premium ink jet lite
premium is designed for use with inkjet
printers with pigment inks no special
ink or toner is required in order to use
ink jet lite premium you will need the
following computer with graphic design
software in this case we will be using
Corel Draw a heat press inkjet printer
with pigment inks we will be using an
epson 4800 therapy ink jet lite premium
scissors and blank garment in your
design program
import and resize your image to fit your
substrate

drag a corner while the object is
selected after resizing you can lay out
additional designs on the paper next
mirror your design to do this under the
file menu select print then in the
pre-press tab ensure the mirror checkbox
is selected after select your printer
under the general tab and click print
also it's recommended that you do a
nozzle check before starting a print job
if the nozzle check pattern as missing
bands ahead clean is required before
printing if the nozzle check pattern has
no missing bands proceed with printing

after the images of printed roughly trim
around your design to minimize the
polymer background remain does not need
to be exact as the polymer background is
virtually invisible
next adjust your heat press settings for
inkjet lite premium the press
temperature is 355 fahrenheit and the
press time is 10 seconds with heavy
pressure
place your shirt on to the heat press
and pre-press for five seconds at 355
degrees Fahrenheit
now place your image transfer paper on
top of your pre-press shirt with image
facedown
then close your press
once the press beeps open the press
peel the shirt immediately while hot
alternatively you can also image most
paths
once again after the image has printed
from your image set your heat press to
the same settings as before
350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 seconds
place a plain piece of paper on the heat
press first place your most pad with
printable side face up next place the
image inkjet transfer paper on top with
image facedown
then close your press

after beeps open your press and Peele
immediately
