Printing a PDF in Windows 8, 8.1+ with Microsoft Reader
UPDATE: MS has added a print button. Right click or press WIN+Z then press print. This is basically a shortcut to bring up the printable options in devices.
Background:
This is a walk through on printing with Microsoft's free PDF "Reader" app, available in the Windows 8 Store. The user reviews of the app in the Store reveal that people are having a hard time printing, so I wanted to help them out. Don't fret, you can print, and it is painless.
Each Windows 8 app has access to devices in the Devices Charm. The available devices depend on the specific app. Under "Desktop" you have access to Second Monitors. Under "Reader" you have access to printers.
Printing:
1) Open PDR to print.
2) Select Devices Charm: Win+C; use mouse; swipe from right side of touch pad or touch screen.
3) Select the Printer to print to, and available options depending on printer.
OS: Windows 8

this is a quick review of how to print
PDF files and windows 8 using the free
microsoft a PDF Reader program from the
reviews it seems some people are having
some trouble figuring out how to print
with this program and I'm just going to
go ahead and give a quick demonstration
and it also showed a light on how
Windows a is set up for not just the
rear program but for other programs so
the first thing you're going to do is go
ahead and start your reader program in
this case I have it loaded with the user
manual of my samsung ativ PC Pro
computer and i'm gonna go ahead and
select a page and now i want to go ahead
and print and that you do this using the
charms menu and charms menu is either
activated with the window see the
combination of the window and the letter
C on your keyboard or you can go ahead
and you can use a mouse in the bottom
right-hand corner on a touch device
activate the charms by swiping from the
right you're going to print to your
printer device using the devices and
right there you can go ahead and see the
list of printers i have installed you
want to go ahead and see more you can
see more my brother printer which is
sitting next to me is offline because i
had set up wireless and it's not plugged
in so i'm going to go ahead
like it end
ok it's been found something to go back
to devices and there's the brother
printer at the top online
go ahead and print my little just print
number of copies which pages do you want
to print and go ahead and print the
current page duplexing and even quite a
bit more settings
ok so you can see the microsoft program
is quite capable of printing we're going
to go ahead and just print this current
page given moment what
and it's not a black-and-white it's not
a color printer so obviously some
rendering issues there's some shading
shoes going from colorblock there you
can see very easy to go ahead and drink
and and other devices that you might
actually see here second screen so if
you're going to connect this to a second
monitor you can also send things to one
know if you have that installed go ahead
and the current page in this case I'm
going to go ahead and say it's a
landscape go ahead and print it to
onenote actually
you know one note is asking for locating
information on where to go ahead and
print it
let's drop it in the quick notes they're
just available all the OneNote goodness
ok so there you go
