so here we go so what I'm gonna do is
what i'm going to do is copy it is and
bring it into a new layer here we go
so first thing I want it was probably
give a little bit of extra space around
the actual logo because i'm going to be
enlarging it we're going to be going
price you kick this up prices should
bump this up maybe let's double it and
see how it looks ok so we have a little
bit of a fuzziness in there one way we
can know kind of get rid of that makes
longer look a lot better is to merge
these two together and let's take it up
a little bit more
let's just take this up another so first
thing first is what we can do is
actually blur this to make it nice and
crispy want to blur it and we want to
blur away all those rough spots it went
forth to be this technique is pretty
simple we want for it to be nice and
soft
we don't get to software lose any kind
of detail but we can go soft this final
out this final output is 40 a website's
going to have super super detailing I
don't really need to retrace the image
so I'm just going to take it right here
and blow out all those hard edges and
then we're going to take the levels tool
and I'm going to actually come in with
the levels until
the image becomes nice and crisp the
edges become nice and crisp and it's
looking pretty good right now I can
still see some little little areas right
there and right there so I'm just
looking for that kind of softness and
what i can do is own you can go one of
two ways
sending it out or fattening up the
stroke whatever way kind of works best
for your art and I'm seeing become a
little bit harsh they want to edge to be
soft so there we go
ok now what we can do now is merge these
two layers are going to make a selection
of going to select this black area now
to convert this into paths into a vector
i need to do something called make-work
pad and maybe a tolerance of two is what
we need
maybe tolerance of one I say that the
same that grab work path problem here is
called it tolerance to . o
make another work path tolerance one and
i can compare that to be the best way to
compare them is to make a white layer
and like so so i can see that the
tolerance of a one is a little bit wonky
so terms of two is what we're going to
work with so now I grab my own this path
selection tool which is a letter A I
grab that grab all the letters and then
I say make think it's under edit safety
find custom shape
and a Kiki rockstar vector good to name
everything ok and now we go to the
vector tools which you get you by the
letter you come down here and grab kiki
is going to be the latest one and let's
draw it out and see what we got
well make sure you set to shape in your
own on your shape to him
so there we go
it's a vector and make it whatever color
make it whatever size it's not the
prettiest thing but they needed in a
hurry and it's for the website the
resolution isn't very resolution isn't
that important i'm just going to throw a
little background on here of color I
like to give the clients you know like
to give them something that's gonna die
so like a little cream on there and make
it look make it look good and I'm going
to say that as a i'm going to say that
as Kiki rockstar back there
yes II and would give her that one and
wanted to save another one
I am actually going to actually going to
jump over to illustrator and save them
out a way I file to so wait for that the
key to load up
while we're waiting no it's good to be
able to know this this type of shortcuts
in in a pinch them so you can make a lot
of you can you can make a lot of quick
crack quick vectors and shapes and stuff
and photoshop using the same technique
and grab something off the internet blow
it up blurry sharpen it make pass and
you can kind of get all kinds of shapes
for a quick little library
oh it's kind of a bootleg graphic
library what time you wanna know if you
don't have time to do create original
art you can see some on the web you like
this is an easy way to do it and i think
im gonna show you one other example and
then we can finish up this tutorial make
a new file in Illustrator this is for
web okay just back to photoshop real
quick just select these past copy good
illustrator paste in shape
let's a scale that down just get down
and drop some color on there
ok
