Portuguese ending english on the blog
post i will show you 38 words that
follow a specific pattern and here in
the video i will pronounce 18 of those
words to help you with pronunciation so
the pattern i'm going to show you here
is the following the words in English
and in Eric like in visionary and in
Portuguese the ending audio or idea
vision adio vision idea it's great to
learn using patterns between the
languages it's a way to quickly build
vocabulary because the words are very
similar
it's easier to memorize the new words
because they are very similar and I
really love this it's a great way to
improve pronunciation because you can
really compare how two syllables are
pronounced in the two different
languages syllables that are oftentimes
the same spelling but with the different
pronunciation so it's a really good way
to tuning to pronunciation and i would
say when I pronounce the words in the
video
don't be fooled by the fact that you can
easily understand them you can because
they're similar in English make sure you
pay attention to the pronunciation and
make sure you are noticing the
differences between English and
Portuguese pronunciation in this
particular pattern the words in
Portuguese have a graphic accent acento
agudo in this case the one that is
underlined and on the slide and the
accent shows you where to place the
emphasis when you pronounce the word so
it's where the stressed syllable of the
word is in this case visual na do so my
emphasis on this not to learn more about
patterns but
in english and portuguese i recommend

word and in patterns between english and
