How to improve your IQ with Dual N-back training - Demonstration

Dual N-back can be confusing at first. In this video I'll demonstrate when to register a match at the 2 and 3-back levels.

There may be slight skips in the video - I believe this happened because of a conflict with the flash app, and the screen recorder I was using. I apologize for this, but hopefully the information still comes across clearly.

hi there i just wanted to go over this
demo heard the dual n-back training task
with you because in my last video if you
if you saw it i discussed the dual
n-back training task and the research
that supported the fact that it actually
can help you improve your IQ so there
seems to be a little bit of confusion
about how to actually use the training
task and in this video I'm just going to
do a brief demo and show you went to
actually press the input buttons so that
you can register a match now here you'll
see i'm at doing back equals 2 and you
can change that you can just see in the
settings menu you can cycle it just by
hitting end that's if you have a little
bit more practice with it i'm just gonna
show you n equals 24 now al see our

see i missed a few there and they'll
give you an idea of how you know when
not to hit the prompt so I didn't do
terribly 425 visual 427 audio it didn't
move me up to the next level but i'm
going to go ahead and adjust it so that
you can see when to press the button at

doing back equals 3 here okay

three and it moved me up to the next
level doing back y equals 4 i'm not
going to do that at this time because I
figure if you have practice at the two
and three back level then you're
probably going to know when to press the
prompt at four back either that all your
own or you'll understand that all it
takes is a little bit of practice and
concentration and you will get it
ok so i hope that helps you i hope it
clears up a little bit of the confusion
around how to actually get the game
going and when to you know press the
input for match so I want to share with
you another awesome site that has a ton
of really cool games that you can use if
you want to work and develop your
working memory so there's just all sorts
of interesting games on this site i
personally like the digit span because i
think that's a useful working memory
task and that also appears on IQ tests
so that can be something that will
directly impact your score on an IQ test
and you know the had dual n-back that's
like a 3d version on of the dual n-back
task three dual n-back speedrun you
might want to give that a try and just
so you are aware there's more

is proven to increase your IQ so and
