How To Make Windows Vista Faster & Improve It's Over All Performance

Has your Windows Vista computer become slow? If so, this tutorial will show you several configuration changes that you can make to it that will help to improve it's performance, speed and responsiveness.

ok this tutorial all right I'm going to
discuss ways at more modifications that

in performance of Windows Vista is to

I'm going to uncheck start sidebar

to start lower left and then we're going

it you have five tabs are going to be on

settings right now

let windows choose what's best for my
computer but if you want to dramatically
increase the speed of it of windows
vista click on adjust for Best
Performance okay now this is going to
strip it down
i strip it down its gonna look like

bills and whistles of vista
you may want to actually select them
here I such as the visual styles on
windows and buttons you know certainly
no such as things like that otherwise
it's going to strip it all the way down
all right so I'm gonna go ahead and like
sit where we've chosen adjust for best
performance
I'm gonna go and click on OK and want to
give it just a second to make these
adjustments I ask you when you can
actually see how it's actually scripted

will dramatically increase the speed
because it didn't want to take out a lot
of the bells and whistles

background like anything like pictures

start lower left then I want to click on
control panel in the control panel

classic view in the upper left
alright next we're going to scroll down
everything is in alphabetical order

alphabetical order all right we're going
to double-click on personalization
all right next under personalized
appearance and sounds when i click on
desktop background which is a second
selection
all right and what we're going to do is
on a location at the top we're going to
click the drop-down and click on solid
colors
all right at this point you can choose
any color that you know you feel
comfortable with
all right i'm going to choose the blue
white and then click on OK
all right and now we have a basic
background it but it's it's it's still
easy to work with ok alright next we
want to do is we want to delete
temporary files to bring in their files
and temporary one of those files are
some work to do that then going to start
all programs and accessories and then
we're going to scroll down to system
tools and then we're going to click on
disk cleanup
all right and that's going to give you
two options to only clear your account
or clear out
you know what accounts of other uses if
you're using it this system it will tell
you what if you are there multiple user
accounts on this system you may want to
you're unsure of how the other person
that would feel about you deleting some
of the files even though they're most
likely going to be insignificant files
are going to select my files on if you
want to have one account or you have
full control the system you can go ahead
and click file from all using this
computer ok and then click continue and
will give us just a second to analyze
the system for files that can be easily
deleted all right next
once the disk cleanup actually opens all
right if you want to keep your
downloaded programs folder
I the height of the download a program
folder uncheck this box okay
make sure the temper and it files
checked all right
offline web pages just like that and
check the recycle bin takes up a lot of
space go ahead and make sure that's
checked set up logs leave that unchecked
temporary files make sure that's checked
really significant thumbnails make sure

ok and then go ahead and click on OK and
then the leaked files

suggest that if you have any programs

area you have any programs like
weatherbug or or rob any coupon related
programs that are running that you feel
that you don't need or use we're going
to remove those I but we are only going
to remove programs that we are sure are
insignificant

to start and then we're going to go to
control panel in the control panel

we're gonna do we're gonna stay on the
classic you for this okay

do is going to scroll down and then
you're going to click on programs and
features
all right and based off of the programs
that you hover over your corner
all right all right you may have to
research some of these like you have
with a book like said things like that
locate them in this list i click on them
and remove them
I but only remove programs you all sure
are insignificant do not remove programs
that were like no such as like a printer
related programs you know such as from
HP or lex markers you know something
like that a can and do not remove those
do not remove the antivirus things like
that only program that you are sure
lightweight programs that you installed
I did you thought were helpful but that
may be slowing down your system okay do
not remove other programs
all right it's really important all
right once you've done that you know
those programs go ahead and restart your
system
okay all right what you said sometimes
back up next thing in line is we want to
remove any and we're related programs
just in case you want sure and we want
to also make sure that you remove any
leftovers of those programs
all right if you want to install them
and you know in the last step is we're
going to go ahead and open Chrome or in
and explore what have you actually are
you know prefer to use
and we're going to go to google.com i'm
going to type in a VW cleaner or these
part of it

then click on clean at the top and then
ok ok again and then ok for a third time

gonna let it run
