quarter million dollar business
I had three sales reps at the time up by
2010 we've grown to over 40 million
dollars in revenue
run in about 35-40 your sales rep so

decisions

in place the systems we put in place

chicken-and-egg thing we need to have
the technology in the system before we
could put the call center
and make it to make it productive so

our call center currently we've probably
got 30-40 people working in our
in our call center to time because the

over the years but to it's fantastic

out for

in the fall it's kind of organic and
natural but
our businesses to take the seasonality
our home improvement and the only way we
can do that is to be proactive in the
generation particularly when
are when the phones are ringing so so
before we put improving in place
are we would work home shows and collect
a lot of customer names and and
maybe you we get back to the office but
we'd be pretty busy running a few leads
after the show and
and that the other ones might end up in
a drawer somewhere
and and it might be a couple months
later when somebody stumbled upon things
were a little slow and we start calling
but
are there was no structure around it and
no no discipline no
no system to really cultivate mine
that the previous are leads that we
collected our mind the database with
women really had it before that
and really didn't occur to us we didn't
understand what kinda value we had
are with within our within our database
and after approve it up in a book called
matches together and and have our
real system around how to keep working
those
those leads that we had already paid to
acquire
are we will see tremendous efficiencies
was gonna go to pay to get the lead we
just didn't realize what we could do
with it
and so on improve really helped us to to
solve that problem
when I when I recognized the the the
need for a
CRM customer relation management
software business
we were small business we were to a
quarter million in sales
and on by putting

I recognize that I had a for business
management software platform
that was totally scaleable the week grow
into and that we weren't gonna have to

later was much more important for me to
make the investment early on
and build in a system where everybody an
organization understood how
work and now grow into all
functionalities and improve it
over the years if I was going to up
