How to View & Convert AVCHD Format On Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS25 (Mac)

I made this video as a response to my viewers who had problems taking videos out of the Panasonic DMC-ZS25 due to the factory settings of saving in AVCHD. If you want a Windows tutorial be sure to leave them in the comments below!

interesting question from one of my
viewers on a video so today is going to
be a video response question
so the question is from mattea see sorry
I'm gonna mispronounce your name so the
question is I have all I have the same
camera and whenever i try to upload
stuff i can only see the pictures the
videos are updating this really weird
format are treatable on my map please
help
so today I'm going to be demonstrating
how to fix this issue on the camera
the reason why you're having this issue
is because when you bought your camera
panasonic preset in the factory mode to
be recorded on AVCHD right here through
so if you want to fix this
what you have to do is go into menu set
motion picture it should be on any of
these style settings and then record
format change it to mp4 the reason why
you change it to mp4 because if you read
the description ABC HD is best for tvs
and mp4 is best for pc so this is how
you'll be able to view it on top of your
pc i'm assuming since you asked this
question then you probably already have
videos recorded into AVCHD format if you
want to export those things out of the
flash card or the SD card you must
insert it and then when it's in here you
would normally find for all the photos
in the DCIM folder but then if you want
to get to the AVCHD order you go open
this private you should have three over
here so there's a DCIM mi SE and private
it looks like a QuickTime file so when
you open this
they should give you all the selected
videos that you set that you recorded in
AVCHD format so what you want to do is
open the ones that you want to save so
I'm just going to open this one so this

ok so then see so that's how you do it
but if you want to save it that's cut it
you have to go to file and quicktime
player that's where it opens it and
export and then you save to wherever you
want i'm just going to save it to the
desktop let me just name a movie
whoo-whee and then just even what I
reformer i'm pretty sure i could read it
any of these formats so I'm just going
to see it as the default so then see now
it recorded it so then if you go to the
desktop now it should be here
so seed so that's how you get to the
AVCHD format on top of the SD card so
