Reset windows 8 password - No Software Download needed

all right so I'm going to simulate a
simple way to reset your windows 8
password when you forgotten it
so I have a windows a running here in a
virtual machine just for recording
purposes to make it easy to record
through the reboots and power off and
such so we're going to go ahead and open
this up so we don't know that the
password for this user

ease of access
what it does the read stuff on the
screen for you you know it pops up pops
up a screen keyboard and such so we're
going to manipulate that program
alright so we've simulated that I've
insert a CD using a dr e which the cds
in my physical computer
as you can see here here's windows 8
so we're going to go ahead and we're
going to reset windows 8 and boot off
the CD
when this comes up here just hit enter
now we'll give this a second to load and
then we'll continue
all right now that the computer is
loaded off the CD we're going to click
Next repair your computer and I'm or
troubleshoot advanced options and the
command prompt
so we're going to go to the c drive
partition
we're going to go into the windows
folder and then into the system 32 now
we're going to rename a file called the
tillman by exe to you till men
I EXE . back for backup now we're going
to copy
cmd.exe which is the command prompt into
the same name is you Tillman sexy
so now when the computer goes to run you
Tillman it's actually going to run the
command prompt
so I'll exit out of here turn off the
computer and then restart it
now this comes up just let it go through
don't hit enter anything we just want
the computer to boot normally
ok now the computer is booting it up
regularly
we're going to do is we're going to
click on this ease of access and now
gives command prompt type in net user
and it will display the users that you
can change the password for so the user
James or miller 18 which is my
administrator account
so we're going to change that password
so net user Miller when eight for the
username and then the password you want
so i'll change it to just pass word
command completed successfully
so we can go ahead and exit out of this
go to our Miller when a user and type in
password
you've successfully changed your pot
your password for windows 8 and you can
successfully login
