A self-made photo calendar is a timeless gift that by careful selection of images and design of the calendar expresses interest in the donee. This app is the digital version of it. Create a personal gift for your parents, friends or colleagues. Share common moments and memories by sharing pictures of your kids, yourself or landscapes.

The App consists of two parts. First there's the Widget, that can be added to the Homescreen. The widget shows the current month together with a photo that changes every month. It shows all days and highlights weekends in red. The current day is subtly accentuated. Month and day of week are fully localized. In later Android verions, the widget is resizable and can be added to the keyguard screen.

After adding the widget, you can enter a 8-digit code that identifies the calender that you want to show. The photos for that calendar are than loaded and cached on your phone.

The second part is the App with which you can create your own calendars. After launching the activity, you have to select 12 photos, one for each month. Creating that calendar uploads all photos and after successful completion informs you about the 8-digit code for that specific calender.

You could now let your beloved know that you created a photo calendar for him or her. Share the code and help him or her to add the photo calendar widget to the homescreen.

hi I'm and Alaska and i created the
photo calendar app i would like to show
you the basic functionalities and how
you use the application so the intention
is that she created a photo calendar
that you can share with friends and
family and so that they can see every

placed 12 images therefore the calendar
so we can just go there into the special
folder I created and select the picture
14 january and picture 24 februari and I
did prepare that already so you would
have to do the same thing for four
months so you have to select two of
images you should maybe adjust the
images to the month a little bit so i
select some frosted leaves for generally
some lice
it's a sunset in that case for april and
some BBQ for july a funfair for
ghosts and then some autumn scenery for
october and of course a Christmas tree
for december so if you're happy with
your selection you click on create
calendar and then all the images are
transferred to a server and if that
succeeds you are getting back what I
call a booking coat and that count
you can share with your friends or your
parents your girlfriend your wife with
every person that you want to send the
calendar through so depending on your on
your upload bandwidth that might take
some some seconds and in the end you are
presented with an eight digit code so it
should be finished every second know so
there it is
so you either have to write down that
code or memorize it or i will show you
what happens when you press the share
button later so for now we'll just leave
it here and use another device because
that calendar can now be used on any
Android device that runs the photo
calendar and that's basically everything
from android 2.3 upwards so i have a
nexus 7 tablet ear and I want to at the
calendar to the home screen so i go to
the widgets here and browse to the can
your
can place it here and now it's asking
for the booking code so we have to check
back from the application what there was
and transfer that . so in this case that
was for form

and now on the nexus 7 it's downloading
all the images that we just transferred
from the from the other mobile to the
server and as you see as expected we are
getting our frosty lease as our january
picture it's resizable so if you want to
have it bigger
you can make it as big as you want to
and the idea is for you maybe you don't
want don't look at it everyday but when
browsing your I cans and your launcher I
think you're passing by the screen and
every time you're reminded of the book
picture and the person that has made to
the present so i hope these instructions
