Pt 2 -How to pulse programme a digital timer (Hager EG203E)

This is a second part of programing this particular digital timer to pulsate over very short intervals (ie 5 -10 seconds). I was asked by a public school because their existing schedule was changed and the office admin found it a challenge to reset it. I must say it's always a challenge to set these timers. know what to do she called me
we couldn't get it all up and running I
couldn't even figure it out there on the
spot because the tire was in an awkward
spot i couldn't get in to figure out
what was going on it so longer since i
did the previous video must be about two
or three years ago anyhow I thought this
would be a good update on how to set it
for times like this because it's not say
it's a regular times for a regular days
it's at different intervals and yeah it
was the the Hager EG 203 e and it is a
good digital timer
ok clogging up the guys gave me the box
gave me the this is actually a demo
model that they gave me just to work it
out but anyhow here we go
so we'll just start from scratch again
i'm going to show you how to start from
scratch i'm going to delete all the
previous times on this by doing that is
see all these three buttons here i'm
just going to put the pencil across

what is it saying here to set actually
the dates right the seventh of the
second 2015 and the time is actually
right so it held its time even though
you deleted across there but we'll start

okay first of all you go to menu right
now it says program then it has what eat
you know you think it was a star trac
symbol but it's actually a where you can
view your times after you program it the
clock their clock there is actually for
the clock and that's for holiday periods
ok i previously went into the video the
last time showing you that if you're in
different countries such as Europe or
Asia and North America Australia or
whatever when you go to set this up
initially with the time it will give you
what daylight savings you want to enter
into and obviously every country is
different daylight savings so you're
better off going to the last the last it
says Europe then it goes america and
then it goes
australia somewhere then it goes to user
press on user and it's pretty apparent
what you have to do and it's easy to say
we're not here to teach you that
and now here we go so when it's on the
press menu again
just watch yourself there for a bit and
write press over to honor sorry want to
go back to the program when you get on
program press ok to channels and be
basically two switches will pick a right
and away we go now one and then i'll
just remind you we pop over here one is
monday
two is choose day three is wednesday
force thursday $MONTH $DAY $YEAR 5 is
friday $MONTH six will be saturday seven
will be Sunday so we're only interested
in school that's open five days a week
so we'll come back here this late this
particular school when it opened and one
of this sometime scheduled for monday

for tuesday so we'll just first short
purposes we'll just do these five so

alright so we've got 29 that's ok back

flashing it's actually it saves the time
but you can put it down to five seconds
if you want 23 whatever you want and
press ok no minutes okay and so on and
so on and so on
okay we're just gonna discontinue the

now I think it's as simple as that now
when I say I think that's what i did and
it worked right so just for toxic will

menu I go into menu now this time the
program going to go to what i did on my
program i press ok i'm going to go to a
and if you ever get did it did work out
because I don't know if you see these
small little tiny nicks down here
the camera can pick them up but yeah
when you see it yourself when you do
this you'll see that these little Nick's
represent the 10 seconds for each time
lag that you set it for so it's telling
me that the clock the digital timer is
ready to go
it's working ok so that's the way you do
it now don't know if you can see this
this little key here
it stores the memory of your whatever
time you want right
it's very easy to easily work to just
plug it in there now you'll see in a
minute
it'll activate it watch I just gonna
push it down so it's activated so it's
in and it started to try and sink with
the actual timer once it sinks with the
timer and I think it's synced just press
menu and now you have a choice to save
what's on this right what I'm sorry to
save it save whatever program you
programmed within the digital timer
right and we'll just go back to the
press menu will give you the option
again save of whatever you want into the
timer or you can load i just press that
button you can load what was ever in the
key onto the timer and away you go right
and you press ok and it'll load it up i
press love but there's nothing on the
sexual there was nothing on this key
it's pretty simple
ok so I'm going to take out the cake
