how's it going guys
today I've got another video here on my
galaxy tab pro 8.4 inch device and today
I'm going to show you guys how to
install twrp recovery on your device and
i'ma show you this is my opinion the
best way to do this because it allows
you to restore stock we cover if you
ever need to
this is going to require you have super
super super user basic you have root
access on your device if you don't have
that go back watch my previous video on
how to root your device with
cf-auto-root it's not hard very simple
to do
alright so we've done those steps we're
going to go ahead and share do this so
we're going to go into the app store and
download this application this is called
flash if I for root users download it
allows you to do I think three flashes a
day if you want to do more than that you
have to donate
I love this app I definitely already
bought the donated version so very very
nice open it up once it's downloaded and
you'll be presented with this screen
so before we flash anything or we do
anything in recovery
let me just show you what we're going to
do here all right so I'm this screen
here is zoomed up for you so you can see
it there is right here it says a backup
and restore and this is really important
before you flash recovery because right
here you can actually back up your
current recovery and Colonel so i would
do that so first of all click on back up
stock recovery
it's called stock recovery is going to
back up to the SD card you can back it
up to dropbox or drive different places
- so little click backup
and there you go it backed it up and
then we're going to go to colonel and I
like to just put this in as Colonel
stock space and then hit back up and
there you go so you have backed up stock
recovery and your stock kernel so not
flash recoveries or curls you can always
restore them with flash a fight that is
the beauty of flash fire that's why i
recommend using this application to
flash recovery that and you have to
worry about hooking your computer and
get drivers functioning and all that
kind of stuff once you have read access
your golden
alright so from here we're going to say
right here on recovery image
so we're going to flash and then you
have options so you can download Torp
clockwork my recovery or Phil's
clockworkmod recovery touch
now i'm pretty sure Torp and clockwork
my recovery available i'm not sure about
Phil's but anyway we're going down to
work because that's my favorite
so you just click on it and it gives you
some options here
the latest one is Torp too . seven that
old at two and it's not the zip is just
the image so we'll click on that and
then it downloads and actually mine
re-download that's why it's already
flashed me just to go ahead and flash it
I'm going to be a little screen here
with some download information that's
pretty much it
all right so then we're just going to
hit yep and it's flashing it should take
too long and then you can say reboot now
so let's change this back out here
ok so we're just going to go ahead and
click reboot now and reboot now is just
going to put us into recovery
you're going to notice a little
information or end up here and just talk
about what it says
set warranty bit recovery recovery is
not not getting ready to read the rest
of it anyway
there you go shibam you have Torp
recovery on your Samsung Galaxy Tab pro
8.4 inch you have backed up stock
recovery if you ever need to restore it
and you want to take an OG update or
something like that you have that
capability and you're good to go
first thing I would do once i got in
here-- always first thing any time you
get recovery putting on your device's go
to back up
make sure everything selected swipe
across and generate your nandroid backup
now i'm not going to do it in the video
i did do it already
earlier before I started this process so
there it is right there that's my backup
listed right there
so we'll just go back and if you're done
and recovery once you've done your
nandroid backup just go ahead and reboot
system and you'll be back up back into
your standard operating system that's it
guys
that's how to get toward recovery or I
think clockwork mind any of those that
are available through flash a fight on
to your Galaxy Tab pro 8.4 hope you guys
