hello today i'm going to show you how to
download and use data recovery software
that is provided to you when you
purchase any 2012 sony memory card or
memory stick to obtain the data recovery
software you first need to go to
www.zawya.com net / products / memory
card / English underscore us / data
rescue / index dot HTML at the website
scroll down to see what types of files
can be recovered the software supports
the recovery of JP a DCF mpeg-1 mp4 MPEG
four and pick for ABC ABC HD file ABC HD
3d file 3d photo mpo and other file
types after that scroll down to download
this will then bring you to the memory
card file rescue screen scroll all the
way down to the bottom where it says
download down and click download now
you will then be asked your products
model name and serial number
if you do not know click the do not know
the model mean another window will open
and it will show you where on your sony
memory card or sony memory stick the
location of the model number and the
serial number
these two alphanumeric numbers are both
required in order to proceed forward and
download and install the software after
you have entered your alphanumeric model
number and happen american serial number
you will then be asked to complete a
short question year consisting of four
questions once you have completed that
please click Next the next screen is to
verify everything from the previous
screen once you've verified please click
ok then click download
then click save file double-click on the
downloaded file to start the install
process click Next at this window you
will then be asked to accept a user
agreement
you must accept this user agreement in
order to proceed to the next step in the
install process then you must click
install this process may take several
minutes to complete so please be patient
and once it is finished
please click finish once you open up the
recovery program the first thing you
will do is you will need to insert your
memory media and then click Next then
you will be asked to select the drive
select it and click Next
this is the verify screen note and
options box area stating if it is
unnecessary to recover AVCHD video files
select the unnecessary box to reduce the
recovery time in my case it is
unnecessary
then click run the process can take
awhile depending on how large your
memory card is once the process has been
completed all the files that have been
recovered will be displayed with the box
checked uncheck all and select the files
you wish to save then click next select
the save destination and name the
destination folder then click Save the
recovery is now complete the display
recovery destination folder will be
checked click end and the folder will
open you can follow the steps correctly
you will now have successfully recovered
files from your sony memory card or sony
memory stick
