hello everyone in this
well i'm going to show you how to
recover deleted files from a memory card
the first thing that you're going to
want to do is go ahead and go to recover
files quickly . com
and there are you going to find a free
download for software that we're going
to use to recover the files
it's not something you can do actually
in Windows you got to have special
software that can actually dig deeper in
the memory and in the in the drive to
find the files have been deleted
so go to recover files quickly . com or
there's a link right below this video
and go ahead and download the software
and what we're going to do is we're
going to run a scan to see if we can
find the find those files
so when the reasons i like the software
is because it is from a reputable
company its paretologic there an
official microsoft partner better
business bureau credit and and I've use
the software for for a few years now and
it does it does such a great job of
finding those files
so go ahead and get that downloaded
installed then i'll show you how to use
it
ok once you've downloaded and installed
the software go and launch it and this
is the first screen you're going to see
there's a few things going on here we've
got some tabs over here to the left
there's a scan tab advanced tab email
tab and about the email tab is really
what you're going to be doing an email
recovery the scan tab that were on here
does a quick scan a full scan or a
guided scan
so you can actually type a file name if
you're looking for a specific file and
start the scan here but i'm going to
show you the way that I like to use
software that seems to work the quickest
and that's where we're going to do the
Advanced tab
and that way we can also target
whichever device we're trying to to
recover the file from so in this case
you can see what we have all all the
different drives that are hooked up to
this computer are attached right here
so you know what i would do is you know
just kind of remove anything
okay and just make sure that we get the
drive that we want so in this case I'm
going to we're going to use this
removable drive here and we can leave
all this checked to run the scan or you
can you can uncheck certain things but
or you can type the file name and here
also in this case we're just going to
see what kind of files that we can
recover from from this device so you go
ahead and just press this button at the
bottom right start scan and I run the
scan process and you will tell you which
down here is it finds items that will
actually list them together
so go ahead and we'll let this scan run
and then i'll show you what we got
ok the scan is complete and you can see
that suffer was able to find some
different types of files and the way it
sits organizing here again is is it does
it by whatever type of file it is so
we've got all the images group together
documents which would be like Excel
files or Word documents those type of
things
audio video files which could be your
mp3's your MP fours and just different
folders and the other files and fines
so to recover the files you can do the
entire entire drive just by checking
this to recover or you can just do
specific files or groups of files if you
want to do all the images or if you
wanted to do just one image you can do
it like that
so there's different ways to recover and
then once you're ready to recovery just
press this recover button down on the
bottom right hand corner here and the
files will be recovered
one thing about the software is it does
allow you the free scan but you do have
to register the software to recover the
files and they had the advantages
you know you can run the free scan see
the files are there before you have to
register it
and you know if you do a Google search
on
just like recovery software you'll see
software that's you upwards of two
hundred dollars hundred two hundred
dollars
the software is not near that as of this
recording it's around forty dollars for
the software and again you know it's a
full license you get to keep using it as
long as you ever need it and i can tell
you that I've used multiple times so i
