Snagit has three capture modes: image, text
and video.
Text capture is handy for when you need to
capture information, but can’t simply copy
and paste.
Let’s look at an example. Have you ever
needed to write down the names of all the
files in a folder?
You can’t just select the files and copy
the names.
But you can use text capture!
First set the capture mode by clicking the
text mode button.
When the capture button shows a T, you know
you’re in the right place.
Now, start your capture and select the names
of the files and folders.
They open up in the Snagit Editor, which maintains
the basic style and formatting of the text.
From here, you can use Snagit’s editing
tools to change the size, style and font.
When you’re ready to use the text, you can
use the copy all button and then paste everything
into your document or presentation…
