functions absolutely amazing some of

now i'm going to click the Save button
so i can direct it to where i want

and then over here is Microsoft i'm
going to click save now i'm going to
click close i'm going to go over to
windows explorer and I'm going to find
my C Drive and then my program files and
then down here I'm going to find my
microsoft office and over here I can see
the more funk I'm going to double click
that and now before I can run this setup
I got to go close Excel so i'm going to
close Excel I'm gonna say yes save that
and i'm going to run setup here
double click setup you want to continue
yes i'm going to click next I'm going to
agree to this
i'm going to select English I'm those
are ok click install and setup it's
installing launch XL sure i'm going to
click finish
and it opened up a workbook with this
some notes in it so that's pretty cool
but I'm going to immediately go to the
orb up here in 2007 and then down to the
XL options and then i'm going to go to
add ins over here on the left then I'm
going to come down to the bottom here
i'm going to click on i have the atoms
and just click go and sure enough there
it is more functions oh it's already
checked there it is
click OK and now i have my functions i'm
going to open reopen up now I'm going to
show you some of these in the next video
we're going to have to use this eval and
because we'll have a text string right
here that's text written in there that's
not a formula but you can get the eval
function to actually take tax total it
will say 2 plus 3-4 race to the second
into it in the correct order which is
minus 11 file name if we do that will
give us the workbook name close

numbers without repeating I got some

let's go ahead and see how this M R and
this is great because people want to
generate random numbers but they don't
want repetition right so there's nine
cells here so if we say equals M
r and closed parenthesis we have to
enter this as a an array so hold ctrl +
shift + enter a randomly generated
between 0 and eight but not repeat
now if you wanted to go from nine to one
you could edit this and put the big
number first and then one now when I
control shift enter it goes from nine to
12 9 randomly with out repeating now
let's say you wanted nine numbers but
you wanted to go from 0 to 500 and just
pick nine random numbers between those
without repetition you have to put two
commas and then the 500 now if you
really wanted to go from 1 to 500 from
right now to go between 0 and 4 99 you
can add one like this and then not just
and if we hit f9 you can see it will
pick randomly nine numbers between one
and five hundred with out repeating
without repeating let's look at a couple
other ones are some amazing one count
death you've seen at the xls fun channel
formulas for counting unique items well
if you have this add-in you can just do
count death and it will count unique
unique items in a list so we have 1 2 3
it should be ordered
that's pretty amazing mon concat this
concatenate so if i do mon MC only one
in there that starts with MC highlight
this I can tell this function the first
argument is hey where are the that the
items and sells comma and then quotes i
put a comma it will actually take that
whole range there and add account comma
between each value and put it in the
cell
look at that all i did an apostrophe so
f 2 comma or whatever you wanted their
and NB text this takes a number and
writes it as a word so I'm so do n be
click there and this should be 12 comma
