TEST (FIX) YOUR HARD DISK STATE FOR BAD SECTORS & OPTIMISE UNDER WINDOWS VISTA 7 AND UP - 2016

Today we take a look at the latest releases out there created this year in about week 2 and some days later.
This is the second Linux Desktop inspection YEAR 2016

About :

After I finished my Brand new second hand Windows Vista Extra LITE system , a Dell D830 - 64 BIT Latitude with 4GB ram , and working with it , I heard my Hard disk making very tiny Tede Tede Tede sounds , almost not hearable , but loud and clear for my musical ears , so i,m kinda worried about it , also because it's a data drive those are very quiet and also because I found waiting times in processing certain stuff like opening pages in pages on the net ,.


Also got 2 blue screens of death ,.so yeah , i wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong with the drive , I hate investing my time in something that will die in the middle of a work on me , so I did a test scan to find out.

Blue screens of death did not return , prob after disabling the not installed hardware in device manager as you could see in my Itunes video at the beginning.

In my some video ago You saw me masking off a complete 4GB of a hard disk because of a bad sector in it , and using the good part of the disk , so I could continue my installing .
You also saw that SLOW formatting is KEY to find bad sectors.

However if you are on a installed system , then you can not use the FORMAT Slow methode , cause you would lose all your info.

So how to scan under Windows ?
The answer is really easy and no extra tools are needed.
What you need to do is this ..

Click my Computer
Right mouse click the C DRIVE
Chose Properties all the way down
Then chose Tools in the new tab that will open
Select CHECK NOW
In new small windows - select Scan Fix for and attempt recovery of bad sectors .

HIT start ...

Nothing will happen as yet , You will have to Restart your Windows PC or Laptop.

After the boot a menu will pop up , don't touch it , just let it do it's thing.

In the video you will see what you should look for .
This may take a long time but the most important part is the end
conclusion of the scan , and you have only 3 seconds to read it ,
so make sure to be back on time to see that result.

That's it ..
Now you know if you have any bad sector on your hard disk and if you will have to get one sooner or later ..or just mask it off.
