alright so that the aro and I thought I
just go over the installation of the
magpul handguard carbine version it's on
the 16 and a half inch barrel that's
pretty short i just learned how to take
these off it's pretty straightforward
some people use tools some people don't
before i do anything no I'm just going
to take the amount off the scope the
nice thing about that is it catches 0
really easy
I mean it's usually off by about a
quarter of an inch high or low or
something like that but it goes back 20
very quickly
alright so it's going to pick up firearm
and try to stay in frame here
alright this the flip by spring here and
it's just basically spring-loaded some
folks use the tool some people are the
tool
alright can come here good that that
wasn't very graceful but alright alright
so that is the removal of the stock i
just did that just to show you what I
went through with the original that came
with it i'm going to put it back on
alright so the stock is oriented
misdirection and get these leaves that
kind of stick up over here so is that a
nice look I must say and it sort of just
wraps around your site / gives a really
nice finished look pretty inexpensive
unit to I mean this is forty dollars in
Canada so and then use your thumbs
and the palm of your hand and you have
yourself the top for your stock
installed now I'm just going to put the
top part of the stock on right now like
that is my AR amount because i'm going
to take the bottom part i'm actually
gonna put a section of rail on
the one thing about me pull that really
i like a lot is there screws and their
passengers all come with a locked gate
on them and not just you know smells of
quality and that little extra detail and
really do appreciate that
got it this is a little bit harder in
front of the camera that really should
be alright so that's what you sleep put
on all right i'm not sure how much of
this wanted to keep in the video of
nature how it's turning out frankly
I have it on their account just sort of
finger tight and now i'm just going to
play around with it a little bit and see
if that's what i want and yes in fact
that's what i'm going to do is we're
going to take them into that here so we
have managed to do is put this on
backwards instead of focusing on the job
at hand I was more worried about the
camera angles so what I'm going to do is
I'm just going to loosen this one here
so i'll be able to pivot around and then
i'm going to do with this one and see
eclipse comes with it
attachment clipart me and see what we
can come up with a wonderful that didn't
hurt one bit so
you have lined up to two gray of
connecting pieces and basically that
gives a threaded connector for the screw
itself the hex bolt which I'm trying to
hold upside down here for you to see but
basically gives this spot to attach to
land just by feel we have a rail
connected to our foregrip so now we're
just going to put it back on the rifle
and what I'm going to do this slide that
piece down and the foregrip just sort of
grabs under this clip over here pull
back your Springs that's in frame it's
going to pull back on the spring here
and it's in all right i have the utg
bipod tactical up one anyway you can
just see the box right now inside the
box comes with this handy little rig for
those with both guns just had swivel
studs and stuff like that basically by
installing this it's gotta throw up in a
threaded spot here that will squeeze a
squeeze itself basically onto a rifle
with this little stud giving you a rail
which is kind of a neat little option
i'm just going to throw that back in the
box and save that for another day and
now i'm going to basically just install
the ipod this should be really careful
ok only thing about this i'm trying to
catch it between the screws what's
gotten more strength most ability and
there it is
and now i'm going to put that back where
I found it with the utg quick release
mount I like this thing on super tight
so usually what I'll do is I'll give it
a quick little turn just before I put it
on just have to really work that to get
that on so quick releases a bit of a
misnomer because that's going to be
pretty hard to remove at the range
without one of these
but we don't want any movement
especially tomorrow we hope to be
shooting this at three integer my future
plans for this rifle are to update the
buttstock it just rattled too much for
my liking and i guess i have to look at
the optic I might buy another optic next
year to go with this there's a 2233 by
nine so I'm shooting out past 300 yards
I don't think the one by four is going
to be enough of magnification for my old
eyes so one of the other things I'd like
to do is put the angled foregrip on here
when I'm not using the bipod and i think
what i'm looking at with that might be
getting a longer rail that's the five
slot rail there's a 579 and looks like
an 11 slot rail so probably looking at a
seven or nine slot rail but i'll get one
I'm i think i'll try to find a cheap
airsoft one just to see if it works and
then from there get the real deal
this thing is accessory out good friend
of mine
sarah has a theory on rifles the best
accessory that you can get for it is
range time and ammunitions

Shotgun Forestock Replacement
Shotgun Forestock Replacement

This is a detailed description of this project. This is a video of a wood-crafted replacement for a shotgun fore stock. It uses the tools in my workshop, but there was a fair amount of hand-carving to do as well as machining. It is made from Walnut blank set and is part 1 of a 3 part series including: 1) Fore-stock Build 2) Butt-stock Build 3) Finishing the Stock The fore-stock, made by me and my first gunstock attempt. The butt-stock made by my brother and I will be a ...
