How Hookup PlayStation 2 (PS2) to Computer Monitor using V2V Pro Converter

First off, unlike the majority of PS2-to-Monitor videos out there, I DO talk and explain what you need instead of posting a 'soundtrack' to my video (which makes no sense in helping you understand how easy it is).

I show you how to hook-up your PlayStation 2 (PS2) to a Computer Monitor using the V2V Pro Converter - YOU NEED NOTHING MORE and it's not a complex scenario...I made this video since I never found anything useful online informing me what I needed. I hope this helps you out : )

You can purchase the V2V Pro Converter on Amazon for about $35-40 new...It's the CHEAPEST solution and the one that works best (I know, I've tried a lot)...

make tutorials on web development and
design and and today i'm going to change
it up a little bit
only because this is something that I've
been looking for for a long long time
and every time i go on youtube or anyone
internet to find out how do you hook up
your ps2 to a computer monitor not a
television but a computer monitor every
time I looked at different forms or
different things they always had all
these complicated
oh you have to hook up this and that in
this matter but this program and its it
was just too cumbersome so i found a
simple solution
oh and the other thing is sometimes of
every time I usually watch video
sometimes it seemed like it was going to
be informative but you turn it on all
you hear is like some song in the
background with nobody talking to let
you know how they're holding anything up
you have to kind of figure out and
decipher it on your own well this is
going to serve as an explanation without
music and also let you know it's only
one thing that you really need to get to
hook up your ps2 to your computer
monitor
whatever size it is and that my friends
are is a little box hey little box right
there called v2v pro video to vga
monitor converter this thing through all
the way up to 1680 x 1050 so
oh and it is high definition so here you
definitely can get a really good deal on
that I got this on amazon.com for about
25 books you can regularly get them for
about 35 to 40 bucks depending if
they're not used mine was a rare
occasion that it was used but when i
received it
it looked just like new it operates just
like new and its own
it's definitely worth the investment so
let me explain what we got here we have
s-video and vga in sometimes on my old
analog TV out in the living room
I take this out there and i watch some
videos from my computers on to the TV
I'm pretty logical like that
and then you have your hookups in the
back you have your VGA monitor hookup
I'm sorry your computer monitor flip and
then your your VGA cables here
video and your audio cables so these
three are from the playstation 2
that's this cord right here that's the
other side of it so that hooks up here
and there you have the power cord from
the ps2 the hookups at the hooks up
obviously to your wall
now that took up in there we're good to
go
the next thing you have hooked up is
your computer monitor this cord goes all
the way up to the back of my dell
computer monitor the dell computer
monitor also has a power cable
duh and that goes into the wall I'm just
kind of let you guys know what's fucked
up here and that's basically it you look
at this box
obviously yeah that is the monitor and
these three are the PS two chords
pretty simple right from there you have
to plug in from the v to be pro this is
the the AC adapter for it so that goes
into the wall
obviously and then you have in the front
in audio
this doesn't come with it this is me
putting an extra one in there
I i have this on here obviously because
the computer monitor does not deliver
sound mind doesn't anyways maybe yours
might but mine doesn't so I have to rely
on these external speakers
there's one back there we have to rely
on the external speakers for my sound
it's even better anyways in a computer
monitor sound because I get the base i
get the loudness and everything so now
I'm that's there for you and I i have
this is a female version adapter on here
so that way if I wanted to either hook
up the speaker cord to deliver sound
from the ps3 ps2
I can do that or i can take this and
since it's my laptop goes on here its
kind of flip just so you know my laptop
goes here i can hook up my speakers
that's my speaker cable to my laptop so
that's how I have my that's how I have
my little desk office here or going
guys I work and play at the same time
so now i am pretty sure you're gonna
want to see this in action because again
that's you might think to yourself oh
that's pretty easy
why is everybody make a big deal out of
how hard it is well it's now let's go
ahead and hook it up and see I'm going
to connect the sound really quick case
i'm going to put the camera down
still at it
so I fucked up the sound from the box to
this this is the speaker cord into the
speakers and will turn on the monitor
green light is on and i will turn on the
ps2
I'll get my controller ready so let's
just press x apps from left-handed
people
yeah
go that's pushing the wrong buttons the
whole time
so now he's checking out my cards when
my data cards
oh that's why and get a video game
get all time favorites
silent hill for the room
some people do not like it I loved it
those opposed to be originally a
different game
it wasn't supposed to be a sound whole
game so let me open this up
pop that discontent to remember to put
in there initially and then it's reading
the disk now and check it out i'm and
the clarity is really good it's really
easy to hook it up and you would think
that their loss of a video clarity and
and and you probably able to see more
pixelization and what not good
it's totally not the case so I'm very

not that I've noticed anyways and i'm
not i'm not a picky guy but I mean as
you can tell just from looking at its
pretty pretty nice

long time

believe that's me waking up in a room

all know sound hill is it's a dark game
so it's a normally like this anyways as
you can see able to easily walk around
and move and and get through using the
controller
