hello my fellow youtubers today we're
going to go ahead and review ashampoo
photo commander free now this program is
very useful if you have a clutter of
photos on your computer you want to
organize them or if you simply you want
to edit pictures scanned images from
your scanner and edit them or create
really cool collages with your pictures
whatever you might want to do this this
is the program to use and it's free
they all had they have a paid-for
version also that does a little bit more
but this program already does enough
alright you can also take screenshots of
your desktop if you want to and you can
order organize your folders for example
if you have a clutter of folders and you
want to organize them when it rename
them you can use this program to do so i
will post the link on the description of
the video see for the ashampoo website
where you can download it from and so
you can get your free copy but when you
first open up the program this is what
it looks like here and it gives you the
option to view organize an image scan
create capture a screenshot of your
desktop or organize your full your
folders
let's go ahead and click on View
organized and / videos
alright so right off the bat you might
get a little scared of how it looks like
what
don't be scared it's actually really
easy to use here on the left-hand side
you can go ahead and browse through your
computer
most of the time your pictures are saved
in your pictures folder and click on the
pictures folder you might be able to see
a lot of your pictures are a lot of you
guys like to save it on the desktop so
click desktop you might have a folder
there wherever your pictures might be
you can find them through here once you
find them go ahead and double-click on
the one you want to be double click it
you'll right away goto quick fix or you
can edit all right so this picture here
it was at a hookah lounge
I was smoking some hookah and blowing
bubbles and to the actually blowing
hookah smoke into the bubble which is
really cool if you haven't tried it it's
a really fun thing to do
we're going to do here is go ahead and
edit if you click Edit you'll get these
tools at the top where you can actually
just draw in there or you can put
annotations you can answer texts and
stuff like that
alright i'm just going to quit out of it
so that's how you can edit it now if you
want to organize here on the right-hand
side you use these tools here you can go
ahead and choose if you want to CJ only
jpegs shifts whatever it might be but
most of the time you want to see all
your pictures so most people don't
really use that the function that's
really helpful is up here all right
click on this little square with icons
on it and here you can choose if you
want to see your pictures and right now
it's and thumbnails you can do it under
summary report which shows like a list
and film strip shows a film strip down
here
alright so you can do that now we do it
you can also do is you can actually burn
a CD you can search files if there's a
certain of photo you're looking for you
can also search there
let's go and change this back to how it
was alright
you can also change the order going to
sort by name sort by date sorting by
date really helps out a lot because you
could see which pictures the oldest
which pictures the newest you can also
sort by file size creation date that's
very useful there if you need to see
which one's the oldest which is the
newest alright and that's pretty much it
also lets go ahead and take a look at
the other features to close the program
open it back up
it's going to take a look the scanner so
we click on scan image you choose your
scanner if you don't see your if you
don't see your printer there you
probably need to install the driver on
it all right
select your printer select what you want
to do a color picture grayscale
black-and-white or custom settings
I'm just going to go into his color
click scan it will scan the picture and
put it there and you can edit it or do
whatever you want with it and one thing
I forgot to show you as the collages you
click on create you can choose if you
want to do a web photo album calendar
collage slideshow to burn on a CD or dvd
whatever you want to do or a custom j
gif format animation you can even do PDF
alright let's go and click collage let's
go and still it
click on add file it with to add the
pictures that you want i'm just going to
go ahead and add these here click Next
and it there they are made a really cool
collage they're all right you can choose
your background color shadow color and
weaker maybe click on the create tab up
here you can actually select going to
make a panorama HTML album slideshow a
calendar is click on calendar let's see
how that looks
classic modern this click the Select
modern just do it you can select the
colors that you want calendar year 2014
next it all process it click ok click
finish and it should bring it up if you
don't see it going to minimize action
poop it's gotta be around here somewhere
to go
don't see it could save it somewhere
special maybe let's try that one more
time
ok saved it to your to my documents
let's go to documents should be in here
somewhere
all right there is calendar 2014
there it is made a calendar with the
actual photo so that's pretty cool you
can actually make your own calendar from
the from your own photos
let's say you have photos of your family
you can print out you know you can
actually make calendars with different
uh siblings for different months so
that's really cool i'm definitely going
to have to use this feature and use it
with with the family that would be
really really cool i like that that is
so cool
alright so there's so much you can do i
just showed you about a third of
everything you could do on here
go ahead and play with it if you found
