it's given the power cord is want to
show you how to finish the creation that
that I call the battering ram
it's basically a monkey's fist around in
a one-inch steel ball bearing insert
four strand round braid and then the
attachment by a snake not to a split
ring to form a keychain i will also do a
future video explaining how i come out

ends in one location to begin the round
braid
ok now the first step is to tape the end
of your four strand round braid so it
doesn't unravel on you while you do the
work
now i'm going to take the split ring
here and with the four strands
I'm going to tie a crown not so I've got
one string coming over this way
we got one strand coming from the bottom
and going that way and i'm going to take
one of the strands over and through
on this side of the ring and then i am
going to take this court over here on
the other side of the Ring behind i'm
going to go over this
and through that bite
so what I've done here is tied a simple
crown not
on top of the four strand round braid
and holding in place the key ring
ok next i will be doing ace what's
called a snake not i'm going to use to
working strands are picking one on
either side here and then I'm going to
take the other two strands that i'm not
using to do the snake not and i'm going
to tape them down to the four strand
round braid and they will in essence get
covered by the snake not at this point -
I'm also able to remove the tape at the
stuff at the top of the round braid
because the crown not we'll keep the the
brain in place
okay now I'll take the working end on
the right side pass it behind and over
like this
then i will take the working in from the
left side
pass it behind everything and through
here

I'm going to work at all tight later
right from the top so we just want to
get this started
like that now what I'm going to do is
I'm going to spin it around the left
cord becomes the right right cord
becomes the left and i'm going to take
the cord that's on the right
I'm going to bring it around the back
and through this bite below the previous
pass
ok then i'm going to swap the work again
spin it around counterclockwise
switching the cords right to left left
to right now again I take the
coordinates on the right now
I bring it around in below the previous
pass and i'm going to insert it in
between the two chords i see here
ok
this is the pattern that i will repeat
and that's all that was required to make
the snake . done in two colors it
actually makes a pretty cool looking
bracelet so here we go again
swap it around the corner on the right
bring it around the back
and through the bottom of the two you
see on the right

and then i'll swap it again
clockwise
this cord around the back
through here
tape
now i'm going to do this a couple of
more times and then I am just going to
work it tight and symmetrical
ok one more time for the camera
yeah
yeah
so here it is basically worked complete
and tight
you can see the nice snake not pattern
both sides working at times very simple
you basically would pull one of these
pull up the slack and then you get it
here and then here and then here and
then here to come out the bottom then
you flip it around again you pull one
slack will come out
this is the one that would draw it down
and then that draws it down and down and
down so you keep it nice and clean lined
up
I've got two pairs of chords coming on
each side and basically going to snip
them about a quarter of an inch
bring them together so they don't come
through and that completes the item you
can see here the keychain which keys in
there
it also serves as a ring for your pinky
to hold it
obviously giving you are allowing you to
retain the item if you were swinging it
in self-defense
