hi everyone my name is Rob Garnham the
CEO and founder
organizer is my co founder Anthony my
teammates
Jeff in Gilbert and i wanna talk to you
about rethinks
birth what we do second the pain
that we leavin third my dad the first
what we do
whenever anyone knocks on your door
with the product/service or even a
message
will be there on a mobile phone in other
words
we build the software that tracks and
manages
a mobile workforce inspiration
really stems from 2008 where we
literally knocked on thousands have
doors for Obama
all over the country and you know we
found tons a paperless
times a paper maps and data entry all
into the wee hours of the morning
every single day 2008 had to have been
the best-managed logistical nightmare in
history
now this experience really motivated us
to combine
our computer science powers in create
something truly substantial
and where did we end up in the middle
about this year's big political fight
you know the final talking about
the fight between but broccoli and kale
what you think this is about the issues
it's about Bullock acid content or fiber
you're wrong it's about knocking on
doors and winning hearts and minds
and we an organizer are taking a stand
I'm here to announce
impact crunch today that we
are being used by the broccoli campaign
to defeat kale so we're going to go to
the broccoli campaign
and find out some stuff thank you Ralph
I i'm jeff bowman and I do business
development organizer but
at disrupt today I'm running the
broccoli campaign I
my opponents on the hillside have been
up all night printing in preparing lists
and maps
just like we did in 2008 for Obama but
we know better
and we're using organizer to bypass all
those headaches and unleash
regions volunteers in a matter of
minutes birth of our three core
components there's the application
builder
the mobile app and our real-time
dashboard together the make our campaign
faster smarter and cheaper than the
other guys
and we'll show you how this the
application builder
it allows me to configure mobile app the
nineteen will see on their mobile
devices in the field
I start by creating a survey to define
what information I'll be collecting
building blocks on the left and add a
new question
I just pick a question type drag it over
to the right a type in my question
in this case did you know that kale
causes war
and this is a yes or no question
and obviously anyone who says yes is a
little crazy but there are crazy
so we're gonna follow up with an invite
them to our rally
when I survey is all set up I just
needed some I volunteers where to go
and who to talk to wanna kill campaign
is still printing in collating
and its gonna click on my last volunteer
here in this case Michael Arrington
& will dragen under section on the map
we want to go
and when I'm done I just click Launch
and all my volunteers will have
everything they need instantly pushed to
their phone
the app builder lets you create a mobile
app for collecting data in the field and
deployed to your workforce
in a matter of minutes all with simple
drag-and-drop customization
and it'll take the other guys 30 hours
of work to do but we just in a few
minutes
let's switch to the mobile device now
rate
alright so this is what I want here's
the on their phone incentive along with
it paperless dove addresses
my client in here sees all the voters
and assigned him on a map
his first voter shown in red and when it
gets to that address is simply touches
I'm
here and you can go to the survey and
all the responses are sent back to us in
real time
this first motor doesn't support healthy
eating
to be kind to say thanks to move on and
the surveys are dynamic
I we can target different voters with
different messages depending on their
responses or based on attributes in the
database
and then the Apple got us to the next
house on the list this guy
is interested and healthy eating
and supports Brockley and believes the
kale causes war
so we've got a contact him and get his
email address
and I will be sent say to our database
all malfunction there
so let's switch back to the with the web
between into their ago
that's great no we're fine
awesome so back in our headquarters we
want to see what's going on out in the
field
though while the other campaign has no
idea what their workers are doing or
what voters are thinking just by looking
at the map
we can see every voter as we talk to
them I can see on my volunteers are
doing
and contact them if I need to and most
importantly
I can see how we're doing in the race
overall the results have here aggregates
all over results in real time
and gives a detailed view where workers
are doing in the field
so looking at a question about kill
causing more we can see we've got a good
chunk and hardcore supporters
in San Francisco and money to follow up
with them
that the system in a nutshell you can
see how we build a mobile app in minutes
the plate to tens of thousands mobile
workers and visually track and manage
the whole thing
and we can do it all from laptop at
Phil's
making a nice ice mint mojito in the
campaign will be up all night tonight
prepping in preparing for tomorrow
and waiting for today's workers to bring
all that paperback and then doing it all
over again the next day
thank you mister broccoli I now as
promised
my dad you seen my dad
is a lot like kale
and I didn't realize this until I work
in a campaign you see
my dad owns a small business where I
grew up every day he sends out workers
with a buncha paper yes to collect that
paper at the end of the day
just to figure out a new binder paper to
send up the next day
he spends a lot of time managing his
paper that he does managing his business
that sound familiar its the same mobile
workforce
problem that the campaigns at what we
fix
four campaigns we fix for thousands of
small businesses
just like my dad with organize my
taxiways workers are
they can collect payments at the door
with the click you can send them to new
customers
but most importantly they don't have to
spend at prime
or the gas driving to and from the
office to pick up
or drop off service orders
this is really exciting for us with
organizer we get to take a stand
for the health of the nation and 4,000 a
small businesses just like my dad
but if you think about it me diss ROC
any market that brings us to
so next time there's a knock on your
door will be there
thanks
but I'm you're talking about thinking
really cool and i could be a productive
in an election
their business case story great hear
that at the end
and how do you go about finding that
market how do you go about
rolling out a product in the you star I
sector by sector
when third and go to market strategy
that
I almost think that that was a plan
question because we didn't get to cover
it in our
in our demo by and is perfect because if
you think about it
we want to start with cooperative
businesses for example
in small metropolitan areas orders
higher concentration
so for the commercial side that's
exactly what we do
and we can think up some other mobile
companies that do exactly that
agonize so I
unfortunately lost me when you just kale
II I can't I can come and get over that
and come back
I look guilty yeah I think you guys are
the best presentation mr.
are kinda battlefield so far the session
so far Sony gradually you for that
thanks and
it sounds pretty exciting I'm I'm trying
to you know get my
arms around the two sides different
opportunities right so there's the
organizer kind above
you know campaign whether its problems
killer political and then there's the
you know the challenges kinda being the
you know the collective information for
local businesses
so how do you guys is it different isn't
a good different sales force management
companies but
how do you kinda integrate those two
opportunities in one company
I think there to really important
questions there the first question
is the app itself how does the app
itself work
with the small business is it that that
different
and this is a cool thing about what we
do because if
what we built isn't ap builder and so
you can construct an app for political
campaign
you can construct an app for a nonprofit
you can construct an app for lectureship
I'm so our app allows you to build that
happened and apply to mobile phone
so we're good there the second question
is
in a button and they go up to thousands
of workers or
20 workers so fertile attrition the idea
would
whatever that more when all attrition
with users have for a plumber
won't be specifically for like what what
what would that look like
sure for small business sure so taking a
morning my
does a other two examples first they
have a service request my dad sends a
mountain
with service orders you collect basic
information about the customer
basic information about what they're
prolly their problem is you require that
information
and you can put that on the phone but my
back to construct that
in his case he doesn't have to do that
every day because he's the same service
ordered every single day that service
order would then be on the phone
so when they get when I go to your house
for example you say
I need to replace breaker it breaker
your name is already in there because my
dad
scented as you notice we have those
lists as someone calls
that information is sent in a database
so your name is are already on the phone
you're
address and the mobile app will take the
election write your house so when I'm
there I just put any information
you can even accept credit cards on the
phone
payment goes directly to my dad and then
my dad can click
on that on that electric in and send
them to a new call
this would normally take 100 paper and
oMG we completely eliminate that work
and processing for both the campaign and
a small business
buddy we're passionate about the
campaigns are non profits are going up
for small businesses in going after the
business opportunity
where it was her passion in two senses
bow solar this is great is a great
opportunity now in this election and
we're really passionate about that
but my dad small business owner alright
I was organizer
