Hi! I am Ross on behalf of expertvillage.com,
windows Internet Explorer, let us check it
out. Let us talk about off-line browsing.
Off-line browsing allows you to view web pages
when you are not connected to the Internet.
In any favorite you can set up to be viewed
off-line. For instance, if you go to add a
favorite, you have an option right at the
very top - make available off-line. Also if
you already have a favorite and want to make
it available, find it in your favorites list,
right click it and say make available off-line.
It brings up the wizard. In the wizard, click
next and then you have to read the contents
carefully. For instance this first one do
you want to use the links in that web page?
and go out and get those pages. Now realize,
a normal web page has several links, may be
10, 20 may be a 100 links, may be more. So
you could really use up your hard drive space
quickly if you start pointing all that data
down so you have to determine that. If you
say yes, you can determine how many pages
deep it goes into the links and if you say
no and click next. You can also set it up
so that it will synchronize from a toolbar
or you can save decorating your schedule and
I could say everyday synchronize that web
page which will go out and get the latest
contents making sure it is up-to-date.
