in this tutorial I'm going to be showing
you guys how to create a system image
backup of your windows 8.1 i'm also
going to show you how to restore from it
for this tutorial i am using an external
drive
now you need to go to this pc so you so
you would know the drive letter of your
local disk and your external drive
you also need to make sure that the
backup drive is bigger than your local
disk with that said rightly star button
and select windows powershell admin
yes to the UAC now in the power show
here
enter the following command i'm going to
put in the bottom here
once you've finished just click on enter
to start the backup
this is the reason why you should know
your drive letters notice on the command
the backup target in my case is letter e
that's because my external or my backup
drive is drive letter e the same applies
to the local drive letter now in your
case it might be a different drive
letter
keep that in mind this back up to take a
little while depending on how much
information you need to back up if you
need to back up more than just drive see

repartition discs
now if you have a driver problem you can
always click on install drivers

format and repartition disc we can
exclude disk but that would be a
different video click on next
finish and this morning means that your
hard drive will be deleted formatted and
replaced with the information on the
image file click yes

have on that image file

it run to restart

back to the time you created that image
file
