yo what is going on guys
Jack here and today I've got you guys a
football manager at 2015 tips and tricks
video and today we'll be talking about
the new managerial style rolls the
tracksuit and tactical manager as well
as talking about the different
attributes associated with each kind of
managerial style explain how each one
will impact your influence as a manager
within your saves and hopefully get you
up to speed with my personal preferences
in terms of how i like to sell my
manager also providing you a few little
tips along the way so football manager
2015 you have two styles you've got a
tracksuit manager who's your manager who
is primarily focused and coaching and
you got your tactical manager who's more
the guy who sits there with a clipboard
in his hand watches back old games tries
to work out what's going on so we have
these two styles and you can see here
you've got your coaching badges these
effects how many points you have in
beaufort tributes and you've also got
you pass play an experience which also
affected so if you have sunday league
and no budges your attributes total is
lowered each bar chart here you can see
a number these numbers can be treated
like taken down and you can redistribute
these points in different ways the
amount of points you have spare listed
below each category you can take points
away from a tactical managers kind of
role and add them to the coaching
attributes throwaway you've also got a
slider here this to basically influences
and the kind of swing in terms of which
points go into which areas if I just do
this and have a tick the tick boxes
which basically will automatically put
the point totals and your pass playing
experience and coaching badges that kind
of in line with the team manager which
i'd recommend for the most part and
you'll see that you're able to kind of
change the swing so the way to imagine
this is as an example and say there are
50 points in total there's more than
that in this example but say this 25
points here and 25 points here for me to
put in and and I have my style focus in
the middle it'll be an even split if I'm
a tracksuit manager i might have 40
points to put into my coaching
attributes and that's the plan to the
tactical attributes this is what this
slide is it basically changes the swing
in terms of
where your tributes go the better
manager wanted more often i'd say just
stay in the middle because it gets to a
stage where most of the time like you do
is kind of necessary to have this many
twenties but i'll come on a second
so anyway bought these attributes
actually meanwhile under stuff with the
coaching attribute the coaching
attributes will have a direct impact on
your role as a coach in your club when
you're coaching at your club you'll know
that there are different categories of
training the strength aerobic tactics
ball-control defending attacking a
shooting shots topping and handling
now these have different star ratings if
you've ever done in your own coaching
setup you'll know that you have a list
of all your stuff down the left-hand
side and then you're able to basically
choose who's going to take what session
and star ratings are provided down below
what the coaching attributes do is they
have an impact on how good you as a
manager are at coaching different
elements for example if you're going to
be a strength for aerobics coach you
need to have good fitness coaching so if
i was saying the lower leagues and I
don't have a dedicated fitness coach and
very often and i would strongly
recommend this in fact that you would
focus on your fitness coaching it can be
of great benefit when you're in the
lower leagues to ensure that your place
a fully-fit especially because the kind
of schedules that you play under can get
fairly kind of hectic and the rest of
the attributes are 30 logical for
example the tactical kind of category of
your coaching you want higher tactics
ball control this technical and mental
defending you need defending and
tactical coaching knowledge if I wanted
to be a defensive coach I might have so
much fitness and instead i'd choose to
have defending and tactical i'll leave a
link down to an art school that talks a
little bit more about all the different
attributes the other thing that
effective starting besides these
coaching the tributes down the left-hand
side is determination motivating and
level of discipline these all have a
role in terms of determining how good
you are as a coach
if you don't have these up to 20 so
again I'll just go through the
determination motivating and level of
discipline you won't be a five-star
coach in a certain category even if you
have the perfect coaching attributes for
that role so that explains about the
coaching attributes little bit more I've
also touched upon the determination
level of discipline and motivating has
been influencing factors in terms of
determining how good you are as a coach
they do also have a number role to play
so in terms of these different mental
attributes the first one we have here is
adaptability this is to do with how good
you are adapt into foreign country so
for example if you set up a save as a
manager and you have english in french
as your language is that your manager
can speak it means that you don't need
to have good adaptability to manage a
French or English speaking nation
because you can already speak it on the
flip side if I was an English major i
went to work in Sweden and good
adaptability would be very good it would
help me convey myself better in press
conferences where I'm obviously not
speak in my native turn and also help me
interrupt my players better i don't know
for certain but i'm pretty sure if you
sign a foreign player who can't speak
english and then you choose to cover
meeting with them
adaptability also plays a role then
because obviously they can't speak the
language that you naturally speak so
that's the adaptability start an
important one if you're planning on
doing something called the Pentagon
challenge on the flip side it's not that
important compared to someone if you're
managing in England I'd have it set to
one personally the next mental
attributes we have is determination this
impacts your ability to get your way
with the board when you make a board
request more determined you are the more
likely they are to accept your appeal
and as I mentioned before it also plays
into your coaching star rating on the
tap on the training page the next meant
the tribute is playing knowledge and you
acknowledge this impacts your knowledge
of the nation's that you manage it so if
your English and you have a good player
knowledge it means on the scouting page
and you will contribute more towards
your clubs knowledge in that area so for
example if you set ourselves a really
obscure nationality say I don't know
Swedish and I came to England and I had
good play knowledge could you put their
knowledge and I'd been in Sweden hours a
swedish national as my manager it would
bring with me
good knowledge of Sweden to my english
club
it also helps with the new scouting
ranges particularly if you're playing
with attributemask going on because it
obviously reduces the element of air and
increasing the number of attributes you
can see for each player so there are two
pretty important ones the next one we
have is level of discipline and as you
can see here this is an effects how
players are going to approach you
so if you have a higher level of
discipline different players got a very
very minor issue maybe a dispute with
another player
they're less likely to come to you to
kind of discuss it if you have low level
of discipline you can have players
coming in and complain about the time is
little thing
this is particularly good we have
training where you might get players
complaining about their training
workload if you have a high level of
discipline you can work your players
harder and they're less likely to
complain the next one is my management
this affect your team meetings and also
how you interact with your place in a
one-to-one basis if they raised a
concern with you and it affects how they
might respond to different ways that you
talk to them and it also as you can see
here affects our how you interact with
your players on an individual basis as i
already mentioned so that's another
useful one obviously some of these are
more important than others in the higher
lead you have a lot more points to work
with if you're going to be using the
suggested kind of experiences and it is
kind of down to personal preference the
most part but i would strongly recommend
20 play intelligence technology in most
situations and wait the last attribute
is motivating that affect your teen
talks as well as your training i already
kind of mentioned that and it also
affects team meetings when you first
come to a club at the end of a season
when you're motivating our players for a
final title push or maybe it's that
relegation dogfight motivating caviar
very important attribute so that's all
the different attributes as I mentioned
when you're a bigger team like Liverpool
the points distribution doesn't matter
so much because you've got so many
points to work with as I said by rule of
thumb i tend to lower adaptability and
choose to focus more on ustream prior
knowledge but again that is more just
down to personal preference i also like
to have fairly good level of discipline
and furthermore if I'm going to be very
to being kind of a coach Y might do is
increase my level of discipline
motivating and determination by as much
as I can
the other thing worth noting as these
attributes do improve over time you can
study for coaching qualifications in
gain now the sheer if your club has not
too many staff members sometimes the
board will decline your request
take on a coaching badge because they
feel you're needed on the training
ground however in most situations you
can go on training courses and you learn
to improve as a coach and it will
increase your kind of coaching
attributes across-the-board furthermore
by just playing the game they will
naturally increase be quite slowly over
time on the flipside stuff like
adaptability improved by being in a
foreign nation player knowledge and
youngster knowledge naturally improves
over time the longer you spend in a
country that in more your prior
knowledge and your experience will
increase off that country but in turn
also the player stats and the manager
starts in themselves will improve so
what I said you could have these in 2020
if you plan on doing a long-term save
sometimes having on 15 is good enough
because those extra points can be better
used elsewhere in something such as
management so that's that and then as i
mentioned before really motivating is
quite useful if you're in a relegation
dogfight maybe you're so he likes to
holidays the future then take on a
challenge i strongly recommend in that
instance focus in on your and motivating
status be one you might want to kind of
focus on but that will improve over time
to a lot of these attributes will just
naturally improve so anyway that's that
real quick i'm just going to show you
guys what happens if you create a
manager and show you the training page
you can understand a little bit more
about what i was talking about before I
just got really quickly basically and
they invest the spare . elsewhere so we
will do that and then once you lock this
in this is now locked in feel manager
career
you can view your attributes on your
manager profile screen allows you to see
how they change over time it's quite a
nice feature obviously in the past you
could check your managers records to
fight wins losses all that jazz
now in football manager 2015 you have
these attributes I kind of like it
personally adds a bit more of a role
play game element of sorts to the game
in terms that there is actually some
character development and it can be
quite a fun challenge to try and get all
your coaching attributes as high as you
can
particularly in the lower leagues as i
mentioned in the lower leagues i really
recommend having fitness up as high as
you can get into the fitness coaching
that is a very big one and as a result
of having a fairly good determination
level of discipline and motivating at
all
so kind of important factors in that so
once your games loaded if you go to
manager profile screen here and then my
profile profile it will give you an
overview of the coaching attributes here
on top of that you've also got the
standard attributes which are available
last year
these are just bars which move depending
on how you do it your current club stuff
I media handling if you answer your
board questions well you can get out to
a hundred percent so if i could tackle
consistency comes to playing the same
tactics hands-on approach involves not
going on holiday and also not leaving so
much stuff to your assistant managing
finances is all about keeping your club
in a healthy direction the other ones
you have here a handling team discipline
that kind of feeds into how you handle
different place in situations royalty
two players interested player bias of
course how long you stick with players
over a period of time and domestic
player biases him kind of buying players
and utilizing players of the nation and
which you're managing in so anyway
one last thing i'll show you it's just
the trading screen in this example as
you can see I've given myself fitness
and different fitness and defensive
coaching at the maximum so now if you
come to the coaching tablets under the
training section this is the star
ratings i was talking about our Lincoln
articles i mentioned which talks about
what these different star ratings
actually mean that you can see here the
tactics and defending star ratings are
for our five-star because i'm doing more
than one it spread in more than one
direction if I one take one you can see
I now have five star defending coaching
so that's how the coaching system works
different attributes that your star
ratings are different training
categories
it's a very important element of the
game make sure you've got the best
coaches for certain areas who knows
perhaps down the line I'll do a video
covering this and a little bit more
detail because it to warrant its own
video in itself anyway hopefully you

new player and a new manager kind of
attributes are a little bit confusing to
begin with but hopefully this is kind of
got you up to speed with exactly what
each one means each one does be
