Make Song Your iPhone's Ringtone | iTunes 11 | iPhone 5 | MAC |

This video shows you the simplest way to make a song your ringtone on any iPhone without jailbreaking it and the best thing it's FREE. I am currently using the new iTunes 11.0.2

Works with iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G & iPhone 2g.

Steps;

1. Plug in your iPhone and open iTunes, and then click "itunes" (top left next to the apple) then "perferences" make sure tones is selected.

2. Choose the song you want your ringtone to be, right click it and go to "get info".

3. Go to the options tab, and select your start and stop time (basically choose your favorite bit of the song and then click "OK".

4. Right click that same song again, and click "create AAC version".

5. You will then see a duplicate version of the song in your iTunes music library (should be underneath the original song).

6. Click and hold the new duplicate version of the song (should be max 40 seconds long), and then drag it to the desktop.

7. Rename the song you dragged instead of "M4A" change it to "M4R". Then a pop up will appear, and make sure you choose "M4R" again so it changes it otherwise it will not work.

8. Next go back to your library delete that duplicate song, as you don't need it as you have the song on your desktop. Next right click on the original track in your library and go to "options" and uptick the "start" and "stop" times. This means you can listen to the whole song again.

9. Drag your ringtone file on your desktop back into the library.

10. Now click on your iPhone (top right), and then choose "tones", your ringtone should be there.

11. Sync your iPhone

12. Once your iPhone has synced go to setting, sounds, ringtones and your ringtone should be at the top of the pile.

of the song way you want the ringtone to
go off on so maybe the chorus of the
song
we'll just do that randomly yeah but
just choose your favourite bit
the song that's that's quite important
and when you've done that click ok then
what you want to do is right click it
again create AAC version and just
underneath it should and it might make
like a little notification sound there
and see it says 20 seconds under time
so that means you've got it next just go
back to the original one
right right click on it go get info and
then on the options one tick these
otherwise when he next play that someone
your iphone it won't fade 20 seconds of
it thats quiet . do it there then she'll
forget
trust me and then just a double check
just right click again
get info and as you can see it's going
to the whole full amount of the song
again
right now you've got this drag it over
your actions thing and hung this on your
desktop with a failed on the desktop and
we want to do is rename it you could
rename the song to the e my ringtone
whatever and it will just leave it how
it is and we just going to change the a
to an are so it's for so M so . m4r then
click enter
now you want to make sure you clip the
one on the right
so use thought yet done so now you've
done that you're good to go
you're awesome now before we forget just
delete the one you made so the twenty
second one so the AAA see version just
delete it and crash course how to delete
the original song just deleted that
so now you've done that move this a new
this new basically your ringtone back
into itunes library
you're done now now what you want to do
is you want to click on your iPhone
click tones and as you can see monkey
town is there
I've made other ones as well but there's
funky town sits on there so we want to
do now is click and apply just looking
for my head kick ass iphone it and now
it's not sinking so it's going to sink
that tone across onto my iphone
next I'll show you where to and click
so to make sure you can have the
ringtone on your iPhone and i'll show
you that now

iphones and I want to go into settings
and then you want to go down to sounds
and when you're on sounds go down
click on ringtone and there we have it
funky town yet i'm not going to play it
