so welcome to the build log or the
Logitech lower if you watch my unboxing
you know that I've unboxing Heredia so
I'm just gonna you know periodically you
know show you things that are going on
when to build log in first things first
but I mentioned this black melamine
frame parts the seventh we have like all
of the parts that are this laser cut
melamine you know from their kids and
other kids as well is the kind of messy
make your fingers like black the I can't
tell if it's just the paint that they
use or whatever it is so I just know if
you are sensitive to stuff on your hands
when you mess with these things worse
it'll wear off over time but when Lagos
know that happen so I noticed something
else this is the Arduino and ramps board
combo these come pre-assembled but this
focuses the second pin in from the left
you can see how far these stick down it
was actually interfering with the power
jack on the Arduino force you don't need
the power jack for this builder for any
of these 3d printers but these little
pins was kinda it was just kind of it
was hitting the top of this jack
encounter preventing the whole thing
from melting down easily so if you
notice that I'm gonna cut that off just
trim it down a little bit so it doesn't
care if you're everything looks like
it's pushed into spending a little bit
to worry about doing this cuz you could
damage this but I'm skilled it you know
making things so I'm going to do it but
just know that if you do that in your
damage to the board and you're probably
that's your fault
income deal a so me and say that you
killed your bored because I think don't
do it not going to do it do it but I'm
going to do it so don't do that so for
you americans out there and by americans
they mean including me but for those of
you
freedom units people three quarters are
all basically in metric so if something
says you know used they M 330 millimeter
bolts easiest way to do that is to take
a pair of calipers and set it to
something like thirty millimeter and
then when you find a bowl that distance
30 years then you know how lucky found a
thirty-mile-an-hour bolts and once
you've looked at like m3 employer you
know the difference and of course you
know those are pretty much the two that
are like the main ones for 3d printing a
couple of things here and there
depending on kids on the kids may even
be Imperial but for the most part
they're metric so like the power supply
the screws and bolts that mounted on
here is m4 and pretty much every healthy
again three with the exception of a
couple of things so just a quick little
thing you can do this to whatever it
says the thirty meter 10 or whatever and
then you can actually go through here
and you know find a bargain compared to
this and see how long it is so easy way
to find the length you need we should
mention small medium and large actually
scratch that the kids says it should
have a small medium and large but you
but I C four sizes I'll get to the
bottom of this is no what's up so the
kids that there are six small nylon
spacers 6 tiny little ones there are 10
Nylon medium 800 these ones which are
like the medium-sized plus these wounds
with your kinda like a slightly bigger
than medium-sized and then we have a
large ones so you can see these rooms
are slightly shorter and large but
slightly bigger than the medium so it
kinda like this
large more large with an M I will see if
that becomes a problem somewhere in the
building that's intentional maybe it's
not I we'll see I'll let you know if
that happens to this part in it is
referring to this belt loop in the study
other and like put it on and all that
and really pay attention to that so I
get this whole thing mounted with these
spacers I don't have to rate spacers I
don't know if that's what happened to
you but the medium ones you should use
to medium ones and should be able to use
thirty five-millimeter bolt it'll take
now so if you don't use spacers then the
bolt is not go it'll bottomed out in the
motor for taking so you're supposed to
use two of these but since I don't have
the moon three of them I found that the
smallest ones if you stacked three of
those will also give you the same date
so that is what I've done currently if I
run into problems later on meeting
certain spacers then I will go from
there I have you know obviously working
hardware store so I can get but need to
anyway I don't see any of this bill is
supposed to be on there are a few look
you know it doesn't really go on their
very easily so I can record this cause
that would be stupid but are you going
to show my intelligence and human being
powers to this inanimate object and get
it on there without taking small parts
or I'm going to take it all parties
because I've given up but I won't let
you guys know that I'm going to pretend
you guys will all pretend that I was
able to get this on their without taking
apart but yeah make sure this is on the
actual Poli they seem like this before

was actually able to do that in like and
just a little bit room they're just
enough to get that both of you forget
you can figure it out yet so we'll be
gone so for those of you following along
at home there's a story here where says
push a weird flanged bearings I'm no
expert but I've never heard of a weird
flanged bearing if you're an expert in
barings' let me know what the hell that
is I have determined what they are
which ones they were free to talk about
these little flanged bearings on main
focus is correct so they're referring to
these things they come in the slowly
bottle to bring him the bearing kit box
bag but weird flanged bearings bearing
school so I got a neat little trick you
don't have to do this but this is a
little goes here think it's an exhaust
fan or something like that and I hear
you use whatever size bolt in it goes
through and through the side and wanted
to throw in here if you look it inside
they're not coming out but you need to
use you know I'm not in there
these groups don't screw into the fans
but the nut itself pre-position missile
I realize how hard you to work is
because doing things one hand it's sucks
so you can see this nut does not just
like it down into a hole too big so what
I did actually is they can make a little
to show you how it actually did was just
take the
screw this whatever size you can put it
through like this and then you can put
it on just like I saw and then we want
to do is grab it with whatever you know
players he's been using and then get
your other ground here whatever you
think 3d printer driver and actually get
down to where it starts to pull itself
in actually be easiest thing to see your
focus I'm actually quite happy that this
list you'll see is pulling this little
certain to actually pull them into the
pan I want to appoint you'll be able to
turn this little hole that Bulgaria that
come on into too much you're feeling its
gonna back out this crew and now you
have yourself a set screw and finish
this is you can use the shorter you can
use the shorter screws for mounting the
fan you can avoid this completely just
by using longer screws in the side but
that is no fun to be a challenge

get this going on so we got the the
frame basically is put together and we
got some third rounds going up here
having you know putting together the ski
ranch thing I can really note of all
this is over there on my tablet the
directions for this I don't know how to
say correctly but needless to say this
this is an easy build if you're very
intelligent me know how to derive
information off of very not good for
like a better way of saying it
directions suck just gonna say that
they're they're not very good
there they say everything I just like
pictures and sometimes it says something
that it's very very very very vague so
better than the original crusade income
with directions back then so I had
basically do it by by I was looking at
the model but this is working the
tolerance is a really really really
tight on this so putting it together
it's not difficult it's just you know
you need to be very careful while you're
doing so I'll go from here and see what
got me into this area this is something
cool the bed is different than the
regular RepRap style bed PCB things is
like an aluminum bed I think it's a
pretty sure is it looks like brass but
it's got a cut my Kapton tape cover on
it but it's like a different style and
it comes with a plug instead of you
having the wires so that's pretty cool I
don't think this printer
has like an inductive sensor for bed
leveling but because this is aluminum
that would allow me to do that leveling
up put a sensor on it so that might be a
model I talked about in the future so
that's pretty cool so this is day two I
have wiring beginning so that's good
wiring loom underneath all the motors
with the exception of the second with
the second motor is for the dual
extrusion is not hooked up until
everything's working the more than I do
this the more I wouldn't recommend this
to someone who is not not really good at
building things there's a lot of stuff
and the directions that are not
basically are not in the directions to
the end of the directions I'm just like
on wiring but little things but the
whole the spool holder that goes in the
back is not even in the direction so I'm
gonna have to figure out how to do that
but yeah this this kid's awesome thing
is stupid sturdy and everything works
really really well like movement wise
everything sliding really nice and many
others but I love the way that the rods
everything work but if you're not good
with if you're not good with directions
or the lack thereof if you can build
something without directions and is
doing it by basically logic logic
hanging out then I don't recommend this
kit right now this is like the very
beginning of February if I'm able to
because I'm now working for them I might
be able to update the directions for
this cause the directions are actually
version 2.1
like version one so I'm gonna look into
improving his directions because they
are everything's there have been to a
point but they're very difficult to
figure out if you're not really good at
following directions and this is my
third 3d printer put together so I can
see how someone who's new to this would
have
issues but I will continue on and I will
let you guys know when I get finished so
I'm probably gonna cut it out but I said
a little earlier at least the way I
thought to assemble this little thing
this is for sure is that go up here and
thus any other originally thought that
you would put that nut and the coupling
and goes and then so it's coming out
this way
like so the couple is coming up that way
and then I realized wow I'm such as it
goes in this way so if you guys are
having trouble putting together this
there's little bit of both curley pieces
and they go just like this you know
hopefully this is good enough to figure
it out and I believe it sets in with
that whole back this way and then those
two holes in the middle
you just take a regular actually these
long both aren't turned it all the way
in its crews readying to the block and
there you go so I am just going to
finish this and then I'm gonna fire this
thing up hopefully hopefully nothing
explodes
