UserTime Short Description:
Record and graph your active computer time. Use stopwatches to manage projects.
|
UserTime Long Description:
UserTime is software for recording and analyzing the time you spend on your computer. It runs in the background and tracks the time each user has been logged on as well as the time they have been actively using the computer. You can view usage history as a quick summary or by viewing or printing one of the reports or graphs. There are configurable options available for each report so you can easily view statistics over a range of days and times. The software can be set to run automatically when you log-on. It can then be set to run as an icon in the notification area of your taskbar (system tray).
UserTime can be installed in a network environment with a central data file. This allows comparison of activity time and computer running time for users on different computers.
UserTime can also help manage the time you spend on your projects. It features multiple stopwatches that can keep a record of the time you spend on separate projects. The time on each stopwatch can be individually saved. You can close a stopwatch and load it again later keeping the previous times. Stopwatches record total running time as well as the time you have been active. If you are timing a project on your computer when you are distracted by something else and forget to pause the stopwatch, the “active time” counter will still show you the time you were actively working on the project, it will automatically pause when you stop using your computer.
Some practical applications for UserTime include: - Keeping track of your personal computer time - Help prevent too much wasted time on chat-rooms or games - Help your children establish boundaries regarding time on the computer - Record the time you spend on different projects - Help allocate computer time for shared computers - In schools for monitoring students computer usage - In the workplace for monitoring staff computer usage
A 30 day trial of UserTime is available as a free download from www.usertime.com

by Jane Smith

But of course they do generally make life easier, and it's not so much the fact that they sometimes let us down that is the issue - it's how we handle that event that can really make a difference. There a...

by Naman Jain
A surfer stays for an approximate 5 to 6 seconds on a web page in order to find something relevant in the site. This is a very short span of time indeed. Within these few seconds, your website must catch the attention of the user, or else it must be ready to lose him for ever. Once a user moves out of a website, there are very little chances that he will come back to your website. Hence it is important that your website development be excellently creative and highly impressive in nature....
