Priodata Select Fast! is a tool to automate the repetitive tasks associated with the SQL tuning process on the Oracle Database. With Select Fast!, you can easily write and keep track of all alternative query versions you create during the tuning process, run them at once to collect statistics, run EXPLAIN PLAN, capture plan from V$SQL_PLAN, set bind variables and session level initialization parameters, etc. Its multi-threaded UI lets you run queries on several databases at the same time, and continue working on new ideas.
Better yet, you can save all that information (the complete analysis, with the queries, statistics results and execution plans) in a single file, for your own future reference or to share your work and thoughts with coworkers. Select Fast! also has a simple-to-use window interface to Oracle10g's Tuning Advisor functionality.
Select Fast! really improves performance of the process of tuning Oracle applications. This product is also ideal for consultants, because of its small footprint, easy to install and uninstall. A unique and innovative product, with a price very low compared to other high-featured tuning tools.
