Digi-Shield is a powerful encryption tool for removable digital media. This application will secure important data using Rijndael, Twofish and Blowfish encryption algorithms. Once encrypted, even if the media is stolen or accessed by someone else, the data will not be visible to unauthorized users.
Keep information private on flash drives and other removable digital media devices. This data security software will protect IDs, passwords, social security numbers, financial documents, human resources data, tax records, corporate trade secrets, bank account information, customer databases, credit card numbers and more from theft. The level of security can be selected for best performance.
This product utilizes the Advanced Encryption Standard, or AES, which was adopted by the U.S. government. Rijndael is the algorithm that has been selected by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology, or NIST. Blowfish is a symmetric block cipher and Twofish was a finalist for NIST. These encryption methods protect important files, folders and drives from unwanted access.
Digi-Shield encrypts entire storage drives that can be automatically or manually mounted. Encryption is on-the-fly and transparent. Drives can be used normally, without noticing the encryption process. Performance is only minimally affected, approximately 10%.
Protect your computer from divulging information. Restrict the connection of removable devices through unlimited registrations. If a non-registered device is connected to the computer, it will not be detected by the system.
Create shielded removable disks with Dynamic Detection. The legitimate user can insert the disk into another computer that does not have Digi-Shield installed. The system does an authentication check using a password mechanism and if the authentication check is passed, the disk operates normally. The program will even create a Shielded List of secured devices for easy access later.
