Home computer security software using patent-pending file blocker technology to stop unwanted and malicious software, like spyware and viruses, from randomly dropping on a computer hard drive without the user’s consent just by surfing the Internet. Aura puts the home computer user back in control of their PC. Aura blocks all executable-type files from accessing a user’s computer; unless that user gives them permission. This proactive behind-the-scene protection means no more drive-by downloads. If it is software a user does want, simply suspend Aura’s protection and continue with the download – it’s that simple. The user then ONLY gets the software they want NOT all of the unwanted and malicious software out on the web. By stopping all executable-type files that try to get on a computer, Aura effectively protects both the operation of the computer and a user’s private information. Aura treats all incoming executable-type files as threats and it will not allow these potential threats to be installed on a computer without the user’s permission. Unlike computer security programs currently on the market that are all reactive, Aura’s proactive, non-signature based approach means it doesn’t play “catch-up” to the release of new malware and doesn’t require daily updating. Aura works behind-the-scenes, so it doesn’t interrupt Internet browsing to ask frustrating questions. And there are no subscription fees because Aura doesn’t need daily updating to keep a computer protected.
