ORS Visual Lite has FDA clearance, Health Canada approval, and is CE marked for the countries in the European Union. Typical users are trained medical professionals, including radiologists, clinicians, technologists, and referring doctors.
Featuring rapid image loading, pre-defined view layouts, and requiring only general purpose computing hardware, ORS Visual Lite is easily integrated within existing PACS networks to provide for the reformatting, rendering, and display of DICOM compliant image data derived from CT, MRI, PET, and other sources.
Available functions of ORS Visual Lite include automatic image grouping and series splitting, window leveling and WL presets, zoom, pan, and cine controls, as well as point, length, angle, and Cobb angle measurements. Multi-planar reformation (MPR), oblique and double-oblique views, intensity projections (MIP), derived series created in any orientation with selectable extent, spacing, and slab thickness, anonymization, reporting, and printing and also included in this free, entry-level package.
ORS Visual Pro extends the functionality of the Lite version by incorporating advanced 3D visualization and feature extraction tools. These additional functions include volume rendering in color, grayscale, and MIP, clipping in planes, spheres and cylinders for planning interventions, curved planar reformation (CPR), virtual endoscopy mode, image fusion, as well as automated segmentation tools to reveal internal structures obscured by bones or the gantry.
