esCalc Short Description:
esCalc is a desktop spreadsheet tool for complex business data calculation.
esCalc Long Description:
esCalc is a standalone desktop spreadsheet tool with an Excel-style interface. It is a good alternative to Excel on complex data calculation. It can access, retrieve data from Excel or Text files and export to Excel after data process. It also provides self-service reporting with rich landscaping styles, multiple charts, multiple data formats, page breaking and printing, etc.
esCalc is convenient, intelligent and efficient. You can master it without any extra learning. You don’t need to write complex and long formulae like in Excel, because all the operations could be finished on the menu, like group, filter, sort, hide, merge, join, union, etc. Such design visualizes the calculation process, so you don’t need to learn R or SQL script or Excel VBA codes, and the operations can be done much more easily.
esCalc has a kind of a newly invented cell, homo-cell, which makes spreadsheets more efficient. When you enter a formula in one homo-cell, the other homo-cells will be filled in with the same formulas, however, the parameters in the formulas will thereupon change themselves based on the corresponding row numbers. Thus, you don’t need to copy the formulas one by one, especially when there are many groups in one sheet, it greatly improves the calculation efficiency.
It’s really the best choice for business users without high technical experience to deal with complex data process instantly.

I like the formula auto-copy feature which I think is better than excel. It's very user-friendly and it saves me a lot of time.
