Europe Roadtrip Ep. 7- Police Stop Street Pianist in Paris

I flew to Paris, bought a piano, rented a van and started traveling around Europe. This is the first day I played piano on the streets. I decided to try the Centre Pompidou. This is one of the most popular busking spots in Paris. I've seen lots of Statue people, didgeridoo players and acrobats playing there. Also, the area is teeming with tourists.

It was difficult for me because I had to find a place to park my van. Parking is not easy in Paris. We ended up playing after 4 PM so that parking would be easier.

We are on the hunt to find the perfect
spot to street perform in Paris
I'm really not sure where to go
to play for the first time in Paris
I feel as if it's better
to play after five o'clock
when people are starting to go home,
we're just gonna head to a couple of areas
until we find that one spot
maybe we should play here, the sound with echo
so nicely all throughout
Coming up to Saint Michel you can see
there's a lot of tourists everywhere
the only problem is finding parking
There's a protest
we've found ourselves some parking
it's around 4:30 in the afternoon
It's perfect time to start playing
People are finishing work and coming
home, the streets are a little bit difficult
because they're slanted so pulling out
the piano is gonna be a little bit difficult
we're ready to go to...
the centre pompidou, this is my first
time playing piano on the streets of Europe
We have to walk four blocks away
to get the centre pompidou right now
Vamos! (let's go)
What would I do without this dolly?
I have no idea, I would not be able to do this
And I'm traveling
throughout Europe with my piano for the next three months
(Indistintic chatter)
Oh, it sucks..
We had a good run
It was a good time here in Paris
In the centre pompidou, met some really
interesting people
I can't wait to play again, I'm definitely gonna be
playing again, no matter what the police says
it's forbidden - that's bullshit.
We're gonna head back to car, pack up, and then grab something to eat.
