Xperia Z3 Dual Sim (D6633): The Big Debate: Standby, Active, or Smart Standby?????????

I could not get a clear answer, on many websites and forums if the Z3 dual is an active or standby dual sim. Many websites state it is active, others say is standby, and some even say Standby/Active So which is it?

The Sony Xperia Z3 Dual Sim works as a standby dual sim (some may call this a smart standby because you can enable the call forwarding from one sim to the other). Also for example, when on call with Sim1 and somebody calls your Sim2, they will be able to leave a voice message instead of getting the "not reachable at this time)

When you are on call with Sim1 and somebody calls you on Sim2, the Sim2 to it will go directly to you Sim2 voice mail (if you have voice mail setup). You will not know somebody is calling you on Sim2 until you get the pop message saying you have a voice mail. If you have no voice mail on your sim2 then sim2 will tell the caller that you are currently unreachable.

Important note: There is a call forwarding feature called (Dual SIM reachability) on the Z3 as well. You can forward calls to the other sim when one sim is unreachable. For instance while on call with SIM1 somebody else calls you on SIM2. The Z3 dual will forward SIM2 to Sim1 and you will see a message pop up and hear a beep (just like call waiting) that says you have a phone call on SIM1 (even though its coming from SIM2) and vice verse. Some call this a Smart Standby. This way you wont miss any calls regardless from sim1 or sim2.

With an ACTIVE Dual phone if you are on call with Sim1 and somebody calls on Sim2, you will be notified that somebody is calling on your Sim2.

standby dual sim what happens is if
you're talking on the phone on one sim

will get a message that you cannot
connect you at this time with the z3
here it is actually a standby and what
happens is when you're on the phone send
somebody called the other sim it'll say
you're not available in to go directly
to your voicemail

voicemail now with a dual active sim
what happens basically if you're on one
sim talking to someone someone
questioned assume that number will come
as well and you can pick up that line
and you can talk to either or
however on a standby sim what you can
also do as well if you can forward once
entered other was other since river for
example if I'm honest m1 and somebody
calls me on sim to what happens is that
that seemed to we'll go ahead and the
sim card you can forward that to the
simple one card and then number of
popups and you have another another
phone call but i will say is coming from
someone so for me it's really no big

great so you guys got that so basically
what happened was we hang up here
somebody called me on my Wiles on the
phone on my someone somebody called me
on sim2 and basically went to repeat to
my voicemail so that's a standby dual
sim
