hello this is Denver Dave here david
farrar from the mile high city with the
quick video to show you how to do a
gmail merge a gmail merge allows you to
send bulk email messages without using
the bcc which is the black carbon copy
or the CC which is the carbon copy
you're going to be able to send up to
460 emails per day for a gmail account
that's the limits they put on gmail
by using this method so it's a bulk
email sending feature that you can
utilize to send emails using gmail so
i'm gonna show you how to do that in six
steps
so step one we're going to create our
email step 2 we're going to open google
docs
step 3 we're going to create the
spreadsheet and then step for we're
going to import our list into that
spreadsheet
Step five is to install an app called
yet another g mail merge and then we're
going to be able to send our email
so first and foremost is to create your
email
and as you can see I've already done
that and when you create the email is
actually going to save automatically as
a draft
so I have my email here that I've
created and then i am going to of course
the same as a draft which is awesome so
I can you know make sure that any time I
need to go back to its it's safe there's
a draft
so the next step then of course step two
was to actually open Google Docs and
then create our spreadsheet so Google
Docs is going to open up automatically
for the respective gmail account that
you're in
so to get here all idea was type docks
and it automatically knew what i was
typing so i put in the rest of it there
for me and it brought me to this page
so here is my spreadsheet that I easily
created by clicking create and then
spreadsheet
once i click this spreadsheet it opened
up this window here and then all you
would have to then do is click file in
import very basic stuff here right
so once your spreadsheet is imported it
will actually appear here and so all you
have to do then is click it
which gets us to step number five
because we've already imported our list
we created our spreadsheet through
google docs for our email right so now
that we have done that we want to go to
step number five which is to install yet
another g mail merge in order to do that
we need to go to our script gallery
ok and the script gallery is here under
tools and it's a little bit slow there
but what you're going to do is you're
going to click tools and tools is going
to open up the script gallery and inside
the script gallery we are going to find
in search for yet another g mail merge
so we click the tools
script gallery so once we open up the
script gallery
we're going to then be able to search
for yet another g mail merge
so it's loading a little bit slow
yet another and so we click search and
wha-la there is yet another mail merge
so you click install and the install
goals quickly it's not a major app or
anything like that you just click
continue
it needs authorization and then this
window appears here where you need to
actually accept all the terms there by
clicking accept la now we actually have
the mail merge feature installed
ok so now i have to do is click close
and now i have the ability to mail merge
as you can see here
ok so now i go to mail merge I want to
standard merge in the standard merge is
then going to simply asked me what am I
merging what am I actually sending right
so you want to know which column
contains the recipients
ok email column because i have a column
header first name and email
so i'm going to go ahead now that it
knows which email and i want to put my
name here instead of my email
oops
title
and i'm going to select the email
because I can have more than one email
and here i could have many emails in my
drafts and so I want to select this one
how to make money on ebay and then i am
going to click send mails so that will
actually start sending folks that is how
you do a gmail merge that might take
just maybe less than two minutes to send
is going to send up to 460
I've seen it before hand 62 max because
again gmail has those limitations of the
only sent about 4 and 16 emails per day
using gmail so this is David for right
