an iphone and if you have an iPhone
there's a good chance you'd have an
email issue if you've not configured it
correctly or perhaps your current
internet provider provider of outgoing
server is no longer providing that so
that's where we come in we have a simple

quickly configure this on your iphone
and forget about those email issues

let's just go over what a smtp server is
you have your incoming server for the
iphone and that's how you get emails
into the iphone but it is very difficult
to find a reliable smtp server to
connect those incoming messages so you
can reply to messages and then send
those messages out from the iphone so
that's basically what a smtp server does
it pushes emails out so that you can
send emails from your iphone by design
iphone does not provide an outgoing
server and actually many companies
companies do not provide an outgoing
server at least not when you connect
them to a third party device like the
iphone or microsoft outlook
there's good reason for that of
companies lose control of outgoing
emails and if you have a few spammers on
your network
sending spam and doing what they do they
can ruin your entire domain and your
entire network for everybody
so that is the most likely reason that
larger companies and companies like
iphone do not provide the outgoing
server free servers are becoming extinct
of even companies like gmail that for
the longest time if provided free
outgoing servers now they're attaching a
lot of advertising
- the outgoing server if you have gmail
you may have noticed over the past six
months that you may have an incoming
email from your professional email
address if you're using the gmail server
when you respond to him it's going to
say your gmail address rather than
keeping that same professional email
address that you're using for your
incoming
so it's very odd and it's very confusing
when someone sends you an email to one
address and you reply from a different
one and that's the downside of most of
those third-party servers that you'll
find and if you're perfect professional
if you're a real estate agent or
salesperson where you work for a larger
company it looks very strange when that
email switches up you have the incoming
email and then you respond to him and it
says sent from whatever your personal
gmail account is can be very confusing

going to look like on your iPhone you
come to your iPhone and you click on the
button for settings
the application then you're going to
select mail contacts calendar
select mail contacts calendar
if you already have an account set up an
email account
you're going to click on my account and
if this is a brand new
I found out of the box and you have not
configured email yet or if you want to
configure a new email account of course
you will click on Add Account
if you already had an account you would
already have your incoming server
information there
and of course that will vary by I email
address whatever your email is you
should have that information provided
from that email company
the part working to configure is
outgoing mail server so click on that
tab
smtp and it will just say smtp i will be
brought to this screen and this is the
most important screen you're going to
type the host name exactly as you see it
there
smtp to go . com user name and password
leave it blank
where it says use ssl select off server
port put 25 25
now that was a quick setup right
