This is a tutorial video that shows how to use the Microsoft Excel bingo card generators found on uncw.edu/edgames . Bingo is one of the best board games for use in the classroom. Yet, it takes so long to create 20 or 30 unique bingo cards. This Microsoft Excel Bingo Card Generator saves all that time allowing you to type in one card, and then it will create the rest. The tutorial shows the 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5 bingo card generators. All of these game templates can be found at:

so this is a bingo card generator and
Microsoft Excel
basically the way it works is you can
type your words in one time and then hit
the shuffle but many times and it's
gonna create unique cards for you
being goes well the best board game
trees in a classroom yet it takes so
long to create when you're thirty you
need cards
this template saves you all the time
allowing you to just type in one card
and then generate all the others
so what I'm gonna do first is it give an
example of how this works I've opened up
what's called bingo three by three
which is basically just three crows in
three columns year
for two cards on a page and I'm gonna
come over here where it says sheep
and I'm going to type in when I'm gonna

to that I'll do the word bush
and then next to that how do the word

being there was a great game for the
classroom because it can be used for
vocabulary math whatever you just type
in your stuff and the one card
and then go from there now this is just
our Microsoft Excel so basically what
I'm gonna do as I can make things bigger
I can make them smaller
just like I would normally by clicking
on the increase in the font size there
now when I'm back here now to my overall
board game I'm ready to try this out and
basically the way it's gonna work is
when this prance all you're actually
gonna see your these two cards right
here
and so I'm gonna do this at the shuffle
button
and what happens is now the word flowers
mood over here
and on the second one hear the word
flowers over here in the word tree is
over there
and head chef again and you can see was
doing there
tree and as flower there's Bush dish
flower
it's generating two unique cards every
time I hit shuffle so the way it works
is that you typed in your one card here
you go to File imprint you print that
out yielding go
I have shuffle button a final imprint
shuffle find fresh apple fine print you
do listen to you got enough cards for
your classroom
um basically about 10 minutes you can
have a bingo game
now a couple notes about how you use
these things
if on the first thing I tell you is that
you do need to enable macros to use
these
bingo card generators and I'll give you
a little tutorial on how to do that in
just a second
but i wanna talk about first is actually
what you do when you come to type on
these cards
we go to type on these cards you only
going to type on this
first card only the first car do not
type on this second card does it
automatically generated
down here below the first car dark up
with extra rows
you also type in words into these to
give it just a little bit of extra
variety in order to create enough unique
cards
now once you've done that you've typed
in your words to the
three heroes here and the two extra ones
below
then all you do is hit shuffle and now
you can do you final imprint final

pretty constricted to get your words or
phrases into these
squares if you need some more room wanna
make something even bigger
then you can do this and you can put it
over here and it is why I page you can
make things as big as you want works the
exact same way if I type the word tree
here
and his shuffle it's going to generate a
couple different cards each time
that would allow me to then
arm print them out I noticed a I did
have to click outsider this sale

in addition to the three by three you

more room to type or make things bigger
inside of those squares
than you did in the two to a page

i wanna talk just for a second
enable my
rose in order to make the shuffle button
work in these bingo card generators
an office 2007 it's actually pretty easy
when you open any one of these bingo
card files you'll notice that there is a
security warning right here it says
macros have been disabled
you click the Options button right there
and use enable this content
and you click OK once you done at the
generator is now ready to work you just
simply go at it
you have to do that each time is now
setting that I well remember but it's
pretty easy cuz that's all you have to
do and then from there on
into work if you do not choose enabled
the gene to the generator will not work
to enable
macros in office 2003 or earlier
go to the Tools menu act you click Tools
go down and find macro
from the Mac grew selection shoe
security
thats tools macro security
then choose the medium setting and click
OK
you will now need to close the program
and then reopen it once you close the
program and reopen it will now reopen
with the new macro settings in place it
should prompt you
if you want to disable or enable macros
and you will choose enable you will now
be able to type and used the
Tom shuffle button just ask you should
