well I recently found out how to do a
password recovery is unofficially and I
micrologix 1000 think this process
should work for us like 500 I don't have
one here to chest and come in handy just
for guys like myself on the floor
machines any changes made or you do
backups and the volumes are stingy about
letting in like this is kind of nice
kind of backdoor identify n so yesterday
I make up official cable so can do this
the situation raises but it's pretty
simple i have set up here is a standard
serial cable from the programming
computer to the PLC and off that cable
have another cable plugged into a second
serial port and I'm tying two and five
on the programming pc 2 2 and five on my
second pc laptop on the bench you
so what we're doing is we're just
sucking out the transmitted on the PLC
to receive the second floor on our
piggyback computer open up hyperterminal
configure your comport settings and when
you try to connect to a
password-protected plc the flashing that
code on the hyperterminal so have a
blank program right up here right now
i'll put a password in so 965 4877
965 4877 got a password downloaded
ok go flying right now it's like you're
coming up to a machine cold
well connect the hyper terminal and
we'll try to go online
what I can see it usually always put 0
in front of the code you can just ignore
that
there it is so pretty handy thought i'd
share with you guys to use honestly
