in this video I'm going to demonstrate
the customer order mine to love me Mr P
this is Manny MRP version 4 which hasn't
been released yet
in some love the button graphics having
been added to the program
also by the time it's released some
other functionality may change slightly
but to show you what to expect I'm going
to run through two separate processes
the first one will be a simple customer
order in the second will demonstrate
some of the MRP features
first thing I'll do is create a new
customer order by selecting this option
from the menu here on the left
we can create a new customer here but
for the sake of this demonstration
I'll pick one that already exist in my
database
I've now got an empty customer order
many MRP can manage many different types
of products but if I open the search
window you'll see that my D timmy's
is full electronic components
I want to add a mouse to the customer
order
how enter the text males and search
again
I get a smaller lists so it's easier to
identify the item i'm looking for
this is the 1i want and here I can see
the available quantity:
when I click here the item is added to
the customer
if the customer had ordered more items
we'd get to them using the search window
but we're done here so I'll close the
search window

select this option from the menu to get
a list have customer orders
this list only contains orders that
haven't been completed yet
open the menu and select this option to
deliver
the total order quantity has already
been answered here
and I can use these buttons to print the
delivery documents

nothing special there
we simply process to customer order for
an item that already existed
in our inventory
any inventory program can do that
but many MRP also includes an effective
MRP processor which I'll demonstrate now
RP his 10
those topics that can quickly become
very complicated
and very expensive
the objective of the many MRP project is
to maintain a small
low-cost easy to use Inventory Manager
with a subset of the more popular MRP
features which are often only found in
larger MRP packages
I'm going to show you some love the MRP
features now
to start with I'll create a new customer
order
same procedure that you saw in the first
half this demonstration
will use the same item as before
and here's the available quantity:

create an internal works
order
give it a works order number
and now we can go in view the bill love

and in the bottom corner you see the

I'll now
real open the Options window
and select this option to allocate the
materials
the allocation process does not adjust
any quantities yet
it simply warns me Mr P that we intend
to build something in future
busy workshop might be planning to build
different products
on dozens works orders all calling for
the same common materials
when we are exporters are allocated in
advance many MRP can tell us
if we have enough materials to complete
oliver works
orders and identify any shortages before
they occur
looking at our shortages report I can
see that I'd need to buy these items
otherwise I won't be able to complete my
works
orders

demonstration
I'm going to ignore this report and
assume I have enough
let's go back to the Bill of Materials
and select the quick build option
when I click this button all the
materials listed
in the bomb will be taken out of stock
in the quantity of the finished product
will be increased
many MRP gives you the flexibility to
flush the bill of materials through your
inventory at any stage of the customer
order

and I can deliver the order to the
customer

this video showed how it works order is
created inside the customer order
that's the way it was done in all
previous versions up many Mr P
many MRP version 4 will also introduce a
new method
where other works orders can be
processed without a customer order
through a new build four start feature
