we're going to walk

terre by varying we're going to build an
aquatic section for you with a waterfall
we're gonna be able to set this up for
multi species animals our first step in
making sure our corium didn't leak so
what we did is we took our dowel
aquarium stealing make sure we had a
good seal around the bottom now that
we're sure that nothing's leaking we can
start
ok we're back now that we know that our
aquaria won't leak we can begin building
the background so one of our first steps
to building the background and when the
fun steps is selecting yourself choice
pieces of wood that started with a
couple of core Carlos zoom and court
follows that I'm going to use to run my
airline tubing up to create the
waterfall
we're going to use a piece of upon your
wood that has some natural holes and
depressions in it that we can run our
tube through and this will eventually
become a piece of our waterfall will
also use zoom at corp
foreground background pieces to go on
the background will fill all this in and
we'll use all these holes to play
planting
so in a few steps are background will be
done so we'll start off by silicon these
pieces and move on from there
ok so now that you've laid your library
about kind of puzzle piece together your
background your next step will be the
silicon everything there are several
different ways that you can go about
doing this
we use just some clear silicone today
what we're going to do is just run a
bead along the court part and lay it
down flat until we get a good still good
contact making sure that it'll hold
usually what I'll do is I'll lay it all
down and then do an outline / around
to make sure that the whole thing

once you have a good amount of silicon
you can kind of move your wood around
until it sticks into place a little bit
better
and then you're doing it don't forget
how you handle it now before you start
silicon

so once you start to get the background
laid out if you take your silicone you
might want to rub it in so that you get
good contact on each side like so and
this looks like the exact reason you
want to use gloves for your shooter
because this will not come off
you don't have to worry about glue on
the background because eventually this
whole background will be covered
so you get glue of areas you don't want
it's not in the world
okay now that we're working on the
background having a silicon someone in
the place the court grant that we are
wanting to use to plant plants in we're
going to go ahead and take paper and
stuff them in the holes so that we can
keep it open

take a can of great stuff to make it
different in different styles this is

now that we've got the background into
place with the spray foam
our next step is to use XO territory
friend betty and a lot of people
recommend that you actually wait for
this to dry and silicon over it
you can do that if you want to go ahead
and take the time to but I'm skillet and
I'm telling you that if you do this it
will work and will come out just as cool
we build my very life like this and they
blasted we've had them last for several
years if you've been there oceanside
story you've seen one that we built that
was on our counter that we had there for
several years growing new mosses off of
it in the background and held up all
that time
it's really cool about this tree friends
substrate is that will actually grow and
sprout out stuff on it just as it on its
own
we're actually just going to completely
cover the whole thing

full day of dry time and we'll go back

okay so now we've let our by varying dry
and we've stood up
so what we're going to do is now remove
the piece of paper that we had in our
court condos which we believe these
spots for us to plant the background
what does would not all the excess

now that our backgrounds pretty much in
place we're going to work on creating
our water feature
so what we've used is art or close to
hide the wire of our real pump which is
just a water pump which is going to help
us move the water for water section
we've attached a piece of airline tubing
to figure out exactly how we're going to
do our water section and we as a couple
piece of rock here to make a damn and
divide was going to be our land and
water section
so from there we use are doing an entire
time it will fill in everything
everything is going to be under your
command
and on the front side we're going to use
regular river rock that we use the left
so you can do a generous layer so that
you can kind of fill in any of the gap
and now we divided our tank
you want to make sure that when you do
your damn that your rocks its hiding up
up your water section doesn't drown out
your land such so generally i'd like to
do it up step right up to the bottom lip
of the of the tria
now we lay down our spray
I pulled out our tube so that we can run
our water section so our next thing to
do is to fill this in with soil and
decide how we're going to plan our
enclosure and then planned out how we're
going to do our products section here
so when you come back this will be done
that already

I think of a layer of Hydra tended to
put in hyde return if you can see on the
side we did a couple inches
basically you want to slope so that your
aquatic section of down here and it
doesn't drown out your land section so
you want to bring bring it up above the
stand up above the line here
general rule of thumb now because when
it's the waterfall that entire bottom
half is going to be filled with water
yes which is why you put the hydrogen in
there and then that's when you get
customers to come in and they said yeah
that built up by varying the whole thing
is drowned out soaking wet because if
you put your water up to here and your
land is only up to here is going to get
coverage
so all packed in there you can see just
how high it goes
relative to the side it's about a good
six inches or so
not more
figuring out the plant
what kind of inside these are kind of a
familiar these are familiar as we're

and we'll use a couple of these pink
stars that we sell here at Triple Threat

now we have these on the website as
earth stars but there's another kind of

primary is complete what we've done is
we've talked it off with excellent air

we're using - 26 want to point those in
the front and 226 want to . nose in the
back
having even lighting and cause your
plants grow how you want them to grow
you can manipulate the way your plants
grill with the lighting for instance if
you want your creepin figs to grow up
the back
remove this fixture let all the loving
simply be in the back all your plants
are going to go straight up towards the
back
if you step in front of her forward so

clear up and once a month we're going to
do a half water change on this other
