This recorder is very small and is about the size of a thick pack of cigarettes or a couple deck of cards. It records sounds with very high quality. I use mine for podcasting and screencasting. I would buy again if I had to. If you use an analog mixer with your XLR mics this is your best bet for a high quality recorder. The Zoom H6 is excellent but is very expensive. I recommend the Roland R-05.
