How to add and customize form fields of Form Maker

channel in our first video for for maker
we installed created and published our
first form in this video we will speak
about form fields in their options since
there are 14 fields i will most likely
break it down into two sections so
please look for part two of four fields
description after watching the video

ok we are currently in a for maker and
manager and we have created this first
form and what I'm going to do is I'm
going to click on add new field each
time and i'm going to talk about each
field in its options the first one here
on the laptop site is custom HTML the
minute you click on it a tax that
appears actually we have tax and visual
tabs here in the text area and you
should add your custom HTML code here in
a tax tab and have created a table going
to paste a year okay and I can see it by
clicking on a visual tap the next one is
our tax input
ok the very first one is simple types
and let's talk about its options field
label it as text here and we can change
it to say description and we can change
the field label size is 100 pixels
currently let's make it 150 pixels and
it moves away as you can see field label
position choose whether to be on a laugh
or a top and the next one is filled
sighs that's you're basically your text
area and
sets 200 pixels right now to be on the
safe side I will make it 300 pixels and
will become bigger in value of empty
section you can have certain text
displayed when the field is empty
next we have any required field we will
choose here whether this field is going
to be required or not the minute i
select required fields red asterisk
appearance next to the description here
in a validation section you can specify
a validation rule to be applied for your
field in a regular expression field
right here you can make your own custom
validation rule or simply choose one of
the many existing ones in common
expression field here so next you will
choose and decided it should be a
case-sensitive or not you will also have
alert message when that information is
typed incorrectly there will be a
certain message alerting your your that
the message has been entered incorrectly
now in a lot only unique values we
choose if the submitted value of the
field has to be unique for each
submission in other words the same value
cannot be entered again after it has
been submitted already what we have mac
series additional attributes and it is
for customizing specific properties of
the field here you can use JavaScript
functions that are defining the
JavaScript tab of the four makers form
options section and we will talk about
it in a different video also you can add
custom attribute to HTML tag and as an
example I can give you some values by
clicking on the Add button here and i
will enter here max length and i will
give it a value of 10 and i will save my
first field time here as you can see
it's right here i'm going to click on
add new field go to my text input but we
have max these password
there is no need to stop here since the
options list here is no different than
what we already spoke about so we'll
simply select it and make it a required
field and i will click on the Save
button
let's go to our text input field and go
text area in a text area there are a
couple of things worth mentioning here
your tax input field can have more than
one roll whereas in simple tax you have
only one role for texts also you are
able to give your text area both length
and height values right here
ok let's say I would make it 300 by 206
ille ok and it will become bigger right
here we know about value empty and the
class name parameter is for specifying
the CSS class of the field it is located
in the theme section on the general
options tab of four options there will
be a separate video explaining folder
options for the moment i'm going to
leave this blank i was selected to be
required field and also a la unique
values as well and i will click on the
Save button here but as a matter of fact
i would like to talk about this section
here this section becomes active after
you have created your first field and
here you can select your next field to
be at the end at the beginning or before
a certain field that you have already
created just to keep in mind i will
click on add the end and i will click on
the Save button here add new field one
more time text input and i will go to
name section here so in a name field i
would like to stop and talk about name
format and we have normal and extended
options here with an extended option we
have title and bill lame sections at it
i would also like to let you know that
the labels here can be edited upon a
click
just like this okay i'm going to select
normal I real selected to be a required
field and allow unique values and i will
click on the Save button a new field one
more time text input and next we have
the address section in the address type
here please pay attention
to feel that can be disabled at will and
also you can have a list of states
available if your virtues United States

change automatically we can also change
our map size probably make it 500 x 300
and it will become bigger and I think it
looks better that way in marker in for
you can specify your company's
information when i click on the
margarita or it's empty but the minute i
enter any information that i would like
it will display that information
immediately after I click on the marker
i will save this as well now email time
this is all of the options you are no
different than what we have covered so
far i will simply select the field save
it and go to our next field time and our
next field time here is send copy to
submitter section or fill time now if
you'd like your viewer to be able to
receive a copy of the message in history
email you need to select the checkbox
here and do not forget to fill in user
email
section email options tab of form
options and what we have next is the
number number type can be used to submit
numerical data such as a serial number
of a product so we can change the field
here to say serial number and i will
save this one as well let's go to our
next field time and that's the phone
number here in value empty you can
specify format as to how you would like
the phone number enter let's say this is
how i like it a 55 1212 and i'm going to
make it a required field at only unique
values here and click on save our last
field type here is in field additional
information can be stored that is not
visible to the users in hidden field it
is similar to typical input field and
can be filled using javascript function
this field can be used for finding an IP
address the URL page IDs post IDs and
all the other fields depending on a form
from which it has been submitted so i
will give it a some values here i'll say
country and USA
click on save so at the moment I would
like to see the form that I've created
so far i'm going to click on apply to
see all of the changes that I've made to
this for me i need to put it either on a
page or post so i will go to my pages
i've created a new page for this for
first form and i will either copy the
shortcode from the forms list or i can
simply click up on the insert for maker
button select my for click on the insert
and i will click on update button here
and i'm going to go to my page refresh
this page and I can definitely surely
see my form that I've created so far and
so with this i'm going to conclude part
1 of this video here and in next one we
will go through the rest of the
fields for the four maker I surely hope
