so we could go i made a video on a few
traveling tips and well before I go off
to San Antonio for labor day weekend I
decided to post up a video on how to
make drawstring bags
ok so first cut out your fabric into two
squares or rectangles mine measures out
to be 15 by 15 inches
this is because i like to put my shoes
and then when i travel since my square
is equal on all sides
I'm just going to pick a side to be my
top now i'm going to draw a line two
inches from the top on both squares next
if you are a perfectionist you can
finish off the raw edges of the fabric I
decided to just search all four sides of
my fabric now placing them right sides
together i start showing up the line on
one side and then going past the line on
the other side
this leaves a little opening on one side
of the back
on that open side you want to fold and
press down the scenes and then secure
within next so down on one side of the
seam allowance across the sea and up the
other seam allowance
it should look like a squared-off letter
you okay so go ahead and fold the top
down so that it meets up with the line
you drew earlier and secure all the way
around with pins
now go ahead and so on the finished edge
all the way around
starting from one opening and ending at
the other
the very last thing to do is to secure a
safety pin on the ribbon and then go
ahead and feed it through one opening
and out the other
so that's pretty much it super easy and
fast day also you can make big ones or
even little ones for gift bag you can to
shear or expensive fabrics for bridal
stuff and the possibilities are really
endless
