Heidi Swapp Memory Planner Process Video and Flip Thru January 2016

I'm sorry for the duplicate video. I had to cover some info...the challenges of recording an actual day to day memory planner.

hi everyone
well I thought it was time to go ahead
and do my January flip through of my
Heidi Swapp memory planner and if you
want to see the video where I set it all
up i'll post that link below
I'm trying to fit all of this in frame
hopefully it will fit for you so it's
just with some beautiful colors and i
had already bought all the matching
stickers and everything because I just
wanted this to be something fast where I
could truly do memory keeping just
writing down jotting down notes and
throwing in some quick pictures that i
could just print off of my arm cannon
cellphone printer and just stick them in
here so i just printed off some neat
little things that I had for january i
went and ate sushi with my friend
Heather and I don't know why I printed
this picture so big I guess because the
food was that good but it didn't really
practically fit on any page in there so
I just put it in this front little
pocket and made a note about what day we
did it and what we did that day and then
here i had some washi tape and I printed
out a picture of the girls we went to
Downton Abbey premiere hosted by is
called a pack here in dallas i set the
winspear opera house and they did the
final premiere of down down to nappy on
the big screen at the winspear opera
house so we took all our teen girls and
they all dressed up for the event and
then i just use some Heidi Swapp cards
here as well as here and then I had
another special event here so i just
stamp the date and put emoji sticker i
just used this
this is kind of a summary page of what
had happened that particular month i put
some additional stickers of highlights
of the month this was from Downton Abbey
night
this was from a pioneer meeting with my
mom and then carts with my dad for the
first time it was 6 that's was like the
only week that was cold here in all of
january so here I don't really keep up
with my calendar because I have a
personal pocket one but i just kind of
put some of the main events so again
from the winspear opera house this is
actually me my girls and my mom got a
picture of all of us that day

stuck down some little stickers
this was a chili recipe i had made this
month and my family liked this
particular one and there were just a few
tweaks that I had made but by far has
been their favorite so I wrote down the
recipe because they asked me to so we
wouldn't forget it we did geocaching on
january first we want with my in-laws
out to like to walk me in Texas just for
the day and did some geocaching this was
super scary because after this picture
and we closed the box a big old black
widow spider probably about that big
around jumped out
I mean my daughter's hand was right
there when she closed the lid there was
the spider so that was a little scary
but thankfully no one got bit and it
just ran off i just left it to do list
in here
I love that little tape runner that I
have a dekko tape runner using that in
my videos it's just a fun one to use so
i have used it on that piece of paper
there my grocery list and then let's see
here i just used one of the stickers
from the collection this is from the
washi tape in the collection and I don't
you know you don't have to put pictures
everywhere it's just very simple
then I kind of got into more pictures as
I went into the later days of the month
and what's really fun about this layout
is this tape
let me show this to you this you may
have seen that Michaels it's part of
their recollections line and it comes in
a tube with all of these and they ran
out at their stores and I have been
looking high and low for these
everywhere
well at first I thought it was a joke
Michaels Stores contacted me on
instagram and asked me if they could
send me some washi tape if I gave them
my address so i was like well I think
they're pretty legitimate account so i
went ahead and direct message them my
address and sure enough these showed up
at my front door
I couldn't believe it now they are sold
out now but from the rumors I've been
reading online they might be restocking
them around april so don't quote me on
it you might want to ask the Michael
store about it but what I love about
this washi tape is it matches the Heidi
Swapp line perfectly see these are the
inserts that came with this planner and
you can see how the washi tape just
complements it perfectly
so that's the tape that I used and I was
just able to stick bouncing pictures
very quickly
my husband had a part of my kids and new
friend moved in
actually I've known her for a long time
and she just moved in to our
congregation so that was her first night
with us
y'all may have watched the news December
26 2015 Texas was hit with tornadoes and
several of our friends have lost their
homes
this is one of the couple's we've known
them for about 15 years and they're in
good spirits they were spoiling that day
as friends were there helping them with
a clean up so I don't want to forget
about that for them so I made sure to
include that because this was a big week
of cleanup for them at their property
then we had a special dinner and so I
just took a picture of the table
placements and just for some know
it's about it then I use that
recollections washi tape again used one
of the stickers here I didn't really
decorate a lot just make sure to take
some photos of that week we have a
friend visiting from Japan she had a day
off so her friends came and had a
sleepover and that was pretty much that
week and then here i did the same thing
the sleepover continues and so I just
took another picture of them in the
morning journal the little bit more
about some amazing deer chili i cannot
believe i forgot to take a picture of
that deer chili it turned out amazing
the friend i have elderly friend she's
from Germany she marinated the deer meat
as a tip in buttermilk and then she took
it out of the buttermilk and squeezed it
dry with a towel and and drained it
so when we cooked it it didn't smell
gave me at all
it was very lean and then i just added
all kinds of New Mexico chili pods that
were dehydrated I rehydrated them and
some other types of chili pods
rehydrated all those blended them all
together it was amazing
so then I just took another sticker from
the Heidi Swapp line and just put it
there use some more that recollections
washi tape we visited a brand new
location that opened in our area and
they're going to be building a new one
in my hometown where i first went when I
was little bitty so very exciting what
all were working on here at this time
so next month will be in February and
i'll try to remember to do a flip
through them as well but keep an eye out
for those washi tapes at michaels
because they make amazing they
complement these pages amazing and help
it go really really fast or you just
trying to lay out your pictures thanks
